Thats the media's job. They are commentating on the riding of the surfboard from the birth of the wave to the wipeout. Thats part of the business model of sports journalists I think. Follow some young promising athlete. Watch him get success. Watch him fall. Its a story that happens all the time. Never stops. Everyone is gonna get soft, old &/or complacent sooner or later.

I assume this happens in all sports (I only follow combat sports so idk for sure). Its just a harder fall in combat sports cuz when you lose its only you that takes the L & you might be KTFO so its harsher then if some cats just got a bigger number on a scoreboard then you & you got a half a dozen or more guys to spread the blame around with.

I don't get the praise for Conor at all, yeah he went up a few weight classes, but he fought a guy that didn't even have a real camp for the fight, was clearly rusty and still beat him.

If Diaz had a full camp then he doesn't take those shots in the first round and comfortably beats Conor.

It's a different fight if both had to make a certain weight.

So McGregor "went out like a punk" yet Broner got dropped twice, almost stopped early in the fight, dry humped, tried to force a DQ, and hit after the bell? lol Broner finished and he still looked like crap compared to McGregor. Also, none of that changed what I said about what he did against Aldo. Broner's got nothing to compare to that.

You're obviously trolling of course, so I'm not going to waste anymore time with you.

Why is this on a boxing forum? What's the relevance?

So another MMA hype job got exposed. Who cares? They'll have another one next week and I still won't want to hear about it.

If I did I'd go to an MMA forum.
