Ummm....you're the one that came into this thread all in your feelings quoting me. Sounds like you're the one with the problem.Comment

I don't have a problem.
I can appreciate the difference in circumstances.
How can a CW be a CW?
How can they all be the same?
They're not.
Sometimes they're good, giving us fans great fights, and sometimes they're a sham, like with how Canelo's behaving.
If you don't get that, that's on you.
I've nothing further to add. I'm done here. You can come back with what you want, but don't expect a reply.Comment

You seem to be labouring under the misapprehension that being a hypocrite makes you wrong. It does not. Yes, it's wrong to demand a catchweight from Ward when you're willing to fight others at 168 but that doesn't make refusing Alvarez catchweight demand wrong. Hypocritical, yes. Wrong, no.A catchweight is a catchweight, regardless of who holds a belt in whatever division. If you're going to demand a catchweight then you have no recourse to refuse a catchweight fight when someone who has more leverage than you demands one.
It's beyond hypocritical for the Triple Duck to ask Ward for a 164lb catchweight in one breath only to turn around and refuse to fight Alvarez @ 155lbs. Anyone who would justify this type of hypocrisy only proves themselves to be a fanboi and nut guzzler...
I don't want to turn this into a philosophical debate about the nature of ethics but the thing with right and wrong is they are right and wrong independent of the people involved and their prior actions. To argue otherwise is to argue from pure emotion and bias.
Incidentally, whether 164 or 168 Ward beats Golovkin.Comment

Once again. You're clearly the one with the problem because you're still crying about "my" post.I don't have a problem.

Very true, well said. Pay the piper. Part 2.A catchweight is a catchweight, regardless of who holds a belt in whatever division. If you're going to demand a catchweight then you have no recourse to refuse a catchweight fight when someone who has more leverage than you demands one.

Wtf are you talking about man? Pac went down in weight against a guy a division below him and you're c that's like saying Ward is a b*tch for fighting GGG at 164. It makes no sense. A real example of a bad catchweight on a fighter below them is Garcia-Salka. He fought a smaller guy and his catchweight was ABOVE the limit. Fighting a guy a division below you at a catchweight is literally the definition of a catchweight.Comment

Algieri didn't want a catchweight he wanted to fight at 147, Pacquiao demanded one. What's hard to understand about that?Wtf are you talking about man?
