Tom and Abel have fed so much BS to these people they'll believe anything. I usually try to stay out of the GGG-Ward discussion because I know GGG fans won't look at the facts right in front of their face. But notice how they ignored other instances of Tom lying or telling half truths that don't relate to Ward. It's really a waste of time and I was wasting time until I had to leave

I lurk on this site mostly because certain fan bases have fighters that are so devoted that you could tell them that 1 + 1 = 2, and they'd spin it into something else that a fighter's promoter said so Mayweather ducked Mosley. Some posters come here just to **** on certain fighters. Regardless of the thread topic, they'll work in guys they don't like to either troll and/or deal with emotional baggage eating away at them. That, and the unchecked racism is getting to be tiresome.

While I feel that GGG didn't duck Ward per se, I do feel that he had no real intentions of fighting him. He had to know Ward would not accept 164. He's not Floyd Mayweather to be making a demand like that.

On the first page you said Ward turned down the fight in 2013. That rumor came from the article that GGG was quoted as saying Ward turned down the fight 3 times. Tom said that was false and GGG never said Ward turned down the fight 3 times.

The tweet by Loeffler you mention about the misquotes from GGG are in reference to an article that followed the original interview GGG gave in Russian where he clearly stated that both parties sat down with HBO, and when asked if they were ready to make the fight, GGG said yes and Ward said no. You either don't know the chronology of the story or you're intentionally omitting the context. Either way you should get your facts straight on the entire thing before commenting. Loeffler, nor anyone else for that matter, has never disputed GGG's statements in his original interview about the meeting with HBO which you can find here....

Nobody ever confirmed GGG wrote that in that Russian article. That site is known for trash. It's like the Daily Mail but worse. Show me where Loeffler said GGG turned down a fight at the HBO headquarters. Back in 2014 when Ward was talking about fighting GGG nobody from GGG even mentioned Ward turning down a fight with GGG. They talked about who was a bigger draw. No mention whatsoever about a meeting with HBO. That HBO meeting hasn't been confirmed by anybody, not even Loeffler. Show me one statement from Loeffler, GGG, or Sanchez saying Ward turned down the fight in HBO's offices.

Ward/Team Ward/Virgil Hunter NEVER disputed that original interview. They never disputed that they got an offer in 2013 to fight GGG and Ward said no.
