Loeffler didn't agree to a media truce. Ward told him to stop lying and Loeffler STFU. Ward steady talked about "Lil G" so I don't know where you get this idea of a media truce. Once Ward put them on notice to stop lying, Loeffler didn't have anything else to say.
I already explained to you the likely reason none of them have mentioned the meeting. If you'd like confirmation, track one of them down and ask him yourself. My guess as to why it's never been mentioned again is far better than yours as I have Loeffler confirming the Russian article on Twitter and no one coming out and denying it ever happened. Furthermore, why would Loeffler confirm the Russian interview and discredit the UK one? Is he just being selective about the lies he'd like to spread? Your supporting case for your assumption is nonexistent and you're ignoring the clear evidence with confirmation of the original GGG statement in the interview from someone who was actually there. In any court, you'd be toast.

They'd made a verbal agreement (truce) to not talk about each other unless they were going to pursue the fight. Ward couldn't keep his mouth shut.

As for GGG and his people being "shook" ...just because you want so bad for it to be true doesn't make it so.

I'm sure that come fight night some of his skills might not be there at the beginning. But as the fight goes on, he's gonna recall all that and make for a great fight."

When it comes to Ward, they always said he needs to get back into the ring and restore his popularity. For example, here:
“If Roc Nation can get him back to where he was in the sport, then that becomes a big fight. There’s no reason not to fight Andre Ward. It’s just that he’s been out of the ring,” Loeffler said. “When people ask him [Ward] would he fight Gennady, and when people ask Abel or Gennady if they’d fight Andre Ward, they say yes. It’s just making the financials work. So far Andre hasn’t really brought the same amount of money that Gennady brings right now. If he kind of gets back in the swing of things, his popularity gets back up there, then there’s no reason not to make that fight.”

This is pretty much the whole GGG vs Ward argument in a nutshell - a bunch of idiots who try to misconstrue everything that is said so they can continue to troll the forums. I guess you weren't bad so bad before since you're not on my ignore list yet.
And here's a link to a more recent (Sept 2015) LA Times article regarding GGG/Ward featuring Loeffler explaining why they wanted "none of Ward" and his 2015 offer. Notice that Tom is so "shook" he inexplicably leaves the door open for a potential match up in 2017...

A video interview with unbeaten super-middleweight champion Andre Ward has stirred up his rivalry with unbeaten middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin.

There really are a whole pile of reasons.

You can still support Golovkin, just keep it real.

It is CLEARLY FKN OBVIOUS that Golovkin avoided Ward.

NOT ducked, avoided..... there is a difference.

I understand why, and I would have advised my fighter to do the exact same thing, for the exact same reason..... it's not a big deal man, they fight in different divisions.

It's not a big deal...... until you ****s decide to spin it 360 to pump up your boy, your boy who hasn't done ****...... no way should I - or anyone else - be required to sit there quietly and listen to that bull****.

You guys openly supported all of that ******ed **** from Sanchez, and to a lesser degree Loeffler.

This is where I am with Golovkin..... a helluva fighter, a beast at 160, and clearly the best middleweight on the planet (with me so far?)..... but rumors of his greatness have been exaggerated..... the "anyone from 154-168" schtick sounded pretty kool, but it backfired badly (like bull**** usually does) with Ward/Canelo/Cotto..... and while it is true that some fighters are ducking Golovkin, no way does that extend to everyone, Golovkin has walked away from mega-fights and super-paydays simply because the terms did not suit him.

He is still a helleva fighter, and very entertaining.

NOTE: I am a Ward fan, to the end...... but I have NEVER used the word bum/coward/etc..... or any of that bull**** to describe Gennady. The guy is a helluva fighter, and he COULD be special..... but that fact will need to be proven, and right now it is clearly obvious that he is a manufactured fighter.

I do not need to minimize/disparage Gennady, just to pump up Ward..... that is Wards job, and he will do that in the ring. And the same principle applies to Ward..... the way you guys bash Ward, does not help Gennady.

Keeping it real, is NOT difficult.

You again with your timeline problems. This HBO meeting info only surfaced AFTER Ward spoke with Loeffler, and after he released that "lying" video. It was a reaction to Wards PR offensive, never brought up till then. Wrong yet again. You just can't help yourself, can you?

If you had any feel for this game, you would not need someone to draw you a picture.

Why can't you guys keep it real, even once ?

The fact that Loeffler admitted that Ward approached him and told him to stop lying to the fans..... is fkn hilarious

                    Just consider for a second.....

ALL of the people who can see exactly what happened..... ALL of the insiders who know exactly whats up..... and ALL of the genuine boxing fans who understand the game and know that it is all about styles/matchmaking...... think that you golovtards are nothing but gullible fanboys

NOT referring at all to the genuine boxing/Golovkin fans, when I say that.

Until you understand the importance of world champions being required to fight their mandatories at the sanctioned divisional limit, it's impossible to have a real discussion with you about Golovkin.

For what it's worth, I have never accused Ward of ducking Golovkin, just of spinning events to try and make it appear that Golovkin ducked him without a valid reason - like NOT wanting to move up and face the best SMW in the world for less money than he could make by staying in his own division.
