If Canelo wants to come into the fight at 155 then that is his prerogative but Golovkin is under no obligation to fight at that weight as long as he comes in UNDER the 160 lb limit. Canelo can NOT dictate that in a WBC Title Fight PERIOD! (And he knows that)

As it stands right now, its a 90:10 split on money, and it will be fought at 155. GGG might get a 20% split. But this thing WILL happen at 155 or no fight.
It's not 90/10, moron. The same guy that claims 97k says Canelo did 600k vs freaking Cotto. Ggg does at 500k vs Cotto probably

Diva. He cried and pulled out of the 1st Cotto negotiations because he didn't like Cotto giving it to him in the negotiation table.

Now he goes ahead and does the same thing.

Boxing needs to be run like other sports where the best fight the best.

Both Floyd and Manny were the 2 best fighters in the world and you think it was an accident they were never officially mandatory? It was out of design because everyone knew they were not fighting and if and when they were it was on their terms not any belt organizations terms. Keep thinking GGG has power because wbc and watch them continue to do nothing.
All of that is true, but completely irrelevant to the point I was making about Canelo suffering a backlash from the fans if he blatently ducks GGG.

Because Golovkin being made his mandatory, and holding the interim WBC belt, means that Canelo IS on the spot now.

Relax. It's a starting point for negotiations.

WTF?! Why are you even here? This is a boxing fan site which obviously you are not.

Canelo isn't fighting GGG, we all know it

We all know Canelo and De La Hoya are out in force laying ground work to sabotage a potential fight.

They are scared, it's simple as that.

I know, you have this coward Canelo afraid to move up to 160. Can't make 155. Is 160 champ.

It doesn't get more cowardly than that.cane
