Whatever the reasons, Manny and Floyd were never put on the spot by any of the governing organisations, so neither of them had to clearly duck the other.
That's not semantics, it's a fact.

The real boxing fans, and everybody with at last a bit of common sense will not tolerate Canelo's demands.
The only people that do are the same couple ******ed GGG haters on this site.
Quite amusing to see how such a thread shows if you care about the sport or if you are just a ****** keyboard warrior with a miserable life.

Im a big ggg "nuthugger" but **** man he's not getting younger take what you can get at this point he coulda stripped nelo of the wbc and set up a unification with saunders . And he coulda had all the belts by April. And canelo would have no choice but to fight him in September in the mean time golovkin could have a gimme fight in late june/ early july as a stay busy fight .

I would have to disagree with fighters transcending belts, even at peak popularity boxers are still very much dependent on casual fans coming out and watching their fights and casual fans gravitate towards fighters that are considered "Champions" by some form of organization.
