Thats a shame he has a better chance against GGG than he did against Floyd years ago. He just needs a fight plan to keep GGG stepping and reseting.
He has the ability to do it and enough pop to keep GGG honest.
Its a good fight and the "A side" BS is for chumps!
You need two solid competitors for a good fight who WANT to fight each other.
A side B side is a fan debate!

    All good points.

Floyd and Manny epitomise everything that is wrong with modern day boxing.

Thank fuck they will both be out of the way before this year is over.
Your the idiot who said when in history did a champ impose a catch weight on his mandatory. Knowing damn well this has happened and it's only semantics or the alphabelt organizations scrambling to make it legal or changing their own rules so that we call it something else. NOTHING CANELO IS DOING IS NEW IN BOXINIG. And you either know that and are just playing the semantics game to defend GGG or you are too new to boxing to know it. Either way Canelo will fight GGG on his terms or not and either the WBC will force Canelo to vacate or they will create a super title or change their rules to allow Canelo to pick who he wants to fight and stay champion. Just like they did for Cotto, Floyd, Manny, Oscar, ect

I don't like this at all. If Canelo didn't have the WBC Middleweight belt, it would make more sense. Either drop the belt and stay at 154/155 or start fighting at middleweight.

I guess you are too dumb to understand the point I was actually making.
No your the fool you said that Floyd and Manny never ducked each other or vacated a belt to not fight each other. Knowing damn well politics and the fact the belt organizations knew Floyd and Manny were too big and they could not impose or force them to fight ANYONE let alone each other so they created special loop holes and belts so that they never embarrassed themselves by enforcing a mandatory and then watching Floyd or Manny dump the titles. So they avoided that let them keep belts and avoid each other while they got to collect sanction fees from their fights. Again these fighters are bigger then the belts. Floyd and Manny fought each other when they were ready and you are fool if you think it had anything to do with who these fraud alphabelt titles wanted. You are trying to make a case that Canelo will be forced into a fight with GGG when history shows us these organizations have little power and rarely enforce their own rules and even if they do fighters have no problem vacating their belts. Only way GGG get's a fight with Canelo is if he agrees to fight on Canelo's terms.

I have many workmates who don't usually watch boxing, but paid to watch Floyd/Manny on Sky PPV here in the UK. They only paid about $25 for it, not $100 like the US fans.

But the reaction of all of those guys after the fight was along the lines of:

That was a fucking rip-off. Boxing is shit nowadays, I'm never going to pay to watch it ever again.

Floyd and Manny made a ton of money for themselves, and maybe you get a buzz from thinking about that, but boxing will take a while to recover from the damage they did with that farcical "superfight"

He's never said he doesn't want the fight. He's just making A-side demands for negotiation purposes.

Canelo went down from 155 to 152 to make the biggest PPV fight in boxing history at the time so I'm sure he's thinking he can have GGG meet him in this instance.

You dudes was cheerleading GGG making A-side demands against Ward but are crying when the favor gets returned on him.
