GGG might as well look for another dance partner for the fall, this one is not happening. Canelo is the bigger draw and is going to stick to his guns about that 155.

And how much of Canelo's money is he going to give to you for kissing his arse like that?
Exactly.

Canelo has already taken less twice at the negotiation table to make big fights. And already agreed to a bigger stars catchweight demands. Now it's GGG's turn.
FACT Canelo at 25 has already fought more then TWICE the amount of world champions then GGG has at age 33.
FACT Canelo has fought multiple future Hall of famers. GGG has fought ZERO.
FACT Canelo has fought multiple guys who were top 10 p4p ranked when he stepped in the ring with them. GGG has fought ZERO.
FACT Canelo has campaigned in a much stronger division.
FACT Canelo has fought EVERY fight the fans have asked and ducked nobody
FACT In a 2 year span Canelo has fought Trout, Floyd, Lara, Cotto name a fighter who has faced tougher competition during this same time?
GGG best win was against Geale who Cotto a Jr Middleweight destroyed easily in what 3 rounds? And Cotto is NOT the best Jr Middleweight Canelo has faced. 154 and 168 were both stronger divisions yet GGG refuses to do what is necessary to fight the guys at either weight. And GGG NOT Canelo said he could fight at 154 or 168. GGG has no leverage when you look at resumes and even less when you compare the amount of money each fighter generates. And looks like either a clown or liar when he says I can fight Floyd and Manny at 154 but not Canelo? And I can fight anyone at 168 except Ward I need a catchweight for him. Oh but wait aren't you GGG fans crying catchweights yet GGG did the same demand.

Why play games? seems girly and weak and wimpy. man up and defend the belt at the weight the belt was designed for. If Canelo isn't letting GGG come in at 160lbs it a no brainer just give the belt to GGG and move on. Boxing cannot let some Mexican dictate weights and play gimmick games with a title belt. Either fight at 160lbs and defend the belt or move off the boxing pot. Simple. DUH?Last edited by bigdunny1; 01-15-2016, 11:23 AM.

GGG would be wise to take the fight this fall and cave to Canelo's terms or he will be in his mid 30's without any significant wins and out of his physical prime.
No world champion in the history of boxing has EVER refused to fight his mandatory challenger without a CW.
Canelo's popularity will plummet if GGG has to get the WBC to strip him of their belt over this.
And who is he going to fight next who would bring him as much money as GGG?
Mark my words, if Canelo ducks GGG and Golovkin becomes the undisputed MW champ, by the time Canelo can no longer make 155 and has to start fighting at the real MW limit, he will be lucky to get 30% of the purse if comes back trying to fight Golovkin again.
