I don't think its anywhere near as bad as Manny or Floyd though.
what does a group of idiotic fans have to do with unfairly criticizing a fighter? By that logic I should criticize Floyd even more because bi-polar Larry is his biggest fan, but I'm still able to say Floyd is one of the best I've ever seen in the 20 years I've watched. And it is getting bad. These threads get over 20 pages. Criticizing a guy is fine but just be objective, or don't, but don't then try to pass yourself off as objective.

That's what he does. Dude is on pins and needles because he called Floyd and Sweet Pea "one-dimensional fighters" and got laughed out of the thread. He tried to make a comeback and change the topic to Floyd/Canelo but miserably failed and got buried. Now he's trying to use this thread to salvage whatever he had left.

But you got guys on here throwing dirt on him because he didn't beat sturm for the belt. A guy who basically conceded and forfeited. Somehow that's used against golovkin as if that's his fault.
I can only speak for myself.

I never once crapped on GGG for not beating Sturm. ALl I did was remind some of the GGG diehards that GGG was elevated from interim champ to full champ and didn't win his belt in the ring.

That is 100% factual. AM I not supposed to post it?

Look, you are right. For far too long the d-ckheads and dipsh-ts have controlled the conversations on NSB. More reasonable convos need to happen.

It's just some people act like GGG can never be criticized. Now, I KILLED him for not fighting Ward but the last two weeks I've acknowledged the fight isn't happening and have moved on.

point them out in this thread. it's too easy to passively imply that the entire opposition is biased. you should call people out specifically.

the people who are arguing against larry, and saying that golovkin is not a protected fighter and that he's wrong to say that, don't look like fanboys to me.

people won't believe me when i say this, and it's fine. go through my posts if you really care to: i left NSB soon after joining because of the mayweather - pacquiao feud. i posted in history. i was not a part of that feud. i am not bringing with me the biases that you guys have developed over the course of a 6 year war. i understand what happened. when you're in opposition of somebody else for years, the knee jerk reaction is going to be to oppose them in the future. when you've been a hammer for years, everything looks like a nail.

i'm not a nail. you're still a hammer. i'm not some pacquiao fanboy. i'm taking the impartial look that you, as a member fo the floyd mayweather - pacquiao war, cannot.

people accuse me of being a fanboy of both manny and floyd. don't you think that's a little odd? i'll also add again that going to las vegas and buying a ticket to a floyd mayweather fight is not cheap, and i wasn't there to see canelo.

i have no anti-floyd agenda. i recognize that the pro floyd agenda has shifted to anti-golovkin agenda.

i don't think BPB, larry, you, etc, are racists. i do think that racial lines are the basis for the war, and the war is why it's so easy to predict where certain posters are going to fall.

the pacquiao - mayweather is not over. there will always be conflict in boxing fanbases. the lines have shifted. we're seeing the manifestation of the old biases in new conflicts. you, as a biased observer, may or may not be able to see that.

First of all most people didn't want Cotto to fight GGG because he wasn't a ''middleweight.'' Then some, for instance in these last pages, Dunn and I are talking about the strategy between GGG vs Canelo, as if we wouldn't want to see that fight!!

GGG fanatics or even those being objective should just be honest and admit that what Sanchez and GGG had said about 154-168 was wrong. It was just wrong. Until people admit to it we'll leave that context out of the picture. If people think it's ok for some to get away with things, like someone stealing money from a cash register constantly and never saying anything about it is either a coward or just ****** and doesn't know what is right and wrong. simple

                I didn't know this. Geez.

No matter what I posted, he changed it and then wanted to debate his interpretation rather than what I wrote. Very frustrating.

My 1st post said GGG should keep at it since he is making money and the Canelo fight seems more likely. Next thing he hitting me with "its because he is white and you think I am white".

Yet New England says it's Floyd fans that have racial PTSD FFS!!

Nah. People are actually calling dude a paper champion because he didn't fight Cotto. That's ****** because Cotto pais him not to fight.

I didn't call you a fanboy NE, FFS. You are not MJ or Kobe, stop making stuff up to get mad at. If you want to score 50, just say so and take a lot of shots FFS!!

Dude, I didn't link you to Manny nor was that statement directed at you. I was making an in general comment to EL-Blanco, not subliminally dissing you.

I am clearly a Floyd fan, but my comments regarding GGG are solely based on what has been said and what actions followed. Yes, sometimes I take shots at him and his fans-but I've never once questioned his skill or abilities.

If I was calling him a bum, I could see your point. We can disagree about his resume. Other than that, what have I posted about GGG that has been unfair?

                    • The most laughable part is they're using Ward as if the guy really wanted the fight. There's ZERO evidence for it. There was a time when Team GG was actually despearate for fights and waiting for Ward's move. They got sick of his dilly dallying attitude.
