i don't think you realize how dumb it sounds to say that a guy is moved slowly when he's the best MW on the planet [and in a lot of people's p4p lists,] when his team has tried to get him in there with virtually every top MW of the last 3 years.

Chavez Jr. was caught up in promotional problems and couldn't fight him. GGG shoud have moved up to take on the big names at 168 and 175. Imagine if GGG, Ward, Bute, Froch, Hopkins (from a few years so), De Gale, Paschal, Kovalev and Stevenson had come together to fight each other. We would have had some great fights and could have created another era like the Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, Duran,, Benitez era.

However, what GGG's team has done is fight stiffs ilike Willie Munroe Jr. in their weight classes while waiting on smaller, more popular fighters from lower weigh classes to move up to fight him.

A career is a terrible thing to waste.

if you want to waste a career, do the bold

golovkin's most lucritive opponents are MWS. he's doing EXACTLY what marvin hagler did. marvin hagler never left middlweight. he stayed for hearns, duran, and eventually ray leonard.

he's not a growing kid, dude. golovkin is in his mid 30's now. he's not a small middleweight, but he's not a 168 and certainly not a 175 lber.

      here's a strong 175 lber named beterbiev

that guy sheds a ton of weight to get to 175 lbs. he's going to finish his career at cruiserweight. he was a 200 lb amateur

here's another one named yunkieski gonzalez:

gonzalez has been at LHW twice in his career, and once was for a shot at pascal in what i believe was a mandatory. otherwise he's been a cruiserweight.

in other words, even if you beat ward or kovalev at 175, you have to defend your title against these gigantic guys, and your career will be short, and you'll probably lose. that's what you call wasting a career!

golovkin was a MW in the amatuers. that means he was 165 lbs on the day of the fight, and walked around not much heavier than that. beterbiev was at 200 lbs in the amateurs as far back as 2011. they're completely different sized dudes.

I never understand these comments. Every top 20 fighter has mgmt struggling and hoping for big breaks. That's the nature of the game. Especially great prospects with word of mouth great skill and an untouched record, those mgmt teams are always the most hopeful bidders to be on significant cards. Therefore, ask any of those fighters or mgmt, ask them the questions who they want to face, it's not uncommon that fighters, the confident prospects, will call out top 10 anytime.

The best example, for a guy who's been very vocal for some time, was Keith Thurman. How long did it take and has it taken him to get to his status? How many times did he call out Floyd to break the Da Vinci Code? Thurman as well has moved ''slow.'' The difference between Thurman and GGG is AGE.

The ONLY thing GGG's camp has faulted is not taking on Ward. The whole boxing industry knows for a FACT that GGG has no A side power in blaming Ward for not agreeing to a 164 bout. Thus, who has GGG fought? That's an empirical fact, and has nothing to do with slow mgmt. You deal with it and move on.

Tbh, I don't think GGG's intellectual enough to even make controversial statements. This is why blame Loeffler and Sanchez. They're the prime example of an elementary version of Top Rank and Arum.

Golovkin fought and lived in Germany, promoted under the same banner as Felix Sturm. Golovkin worked his way up to mandatory, which at the time was a huge fight for Golovkin given Sturms popularity in Germany. His own promoter kept Golovkin away from their star in Sturm, despite being mandatory for over two years. Sturm even laid the WBA 750,000 so that he wouldn't fight him. Meanwhile Golovkin tried to get other bit fights for him, Anthony Mundine, Geale, N'dam, etc, and ended up in a legal dispute. While in legal limbo, GGG had to take fights in Panama and Kazakhstan just to stay busy. After all the legal crap settled he finally got a decent promoter in K2 and immediately fought in the US on HBO originally against Dmitry Pirog who pulled out due to injury. This only happened in 2012.

All of this, well documented and factual. Add to this the list of guys who undoubtedly passed on fighting Golovkin since then - Sergio Martinez, Geale (was stripped, ended up fighting him anyways later), Peter Quillin, Cotto, Canelo, Chavez jr.

But yes let's pretend none of that was reality and let's ask the question "why has Golovkin been moved so slowly? Derp derp derp

this post should be a sticky that all members of the GGG hate squad have to read each time before posting their typical drivel.

Although usually they have all they can do to read a thread title, much less actual FACTS. Its much easier for them to just chirp out "but but but abel said doe" nonsense......

              Boxers that ducked/ducking GGG

1---Felix sturm - wouldn't fight him for over 2 years when GGG was mandatory.

2---Peter quillin - said he will only fight for the may-pac kind of money, lol + he flew to Haymon to avoid GGG

3---Sergio martinez - "His promoter said that "no way I am putting him with this monster", GGG kept calling him out after his U.S. debut after every fight

4---Miguel cotto - ducked his mandatory(GGG) twice by fighting Geale and Canelo

5---Julio cesar chavez jr - Turned down 12mil offer by TR

6---Saul alvarez - Avoiding his mando(GGG). Thinks that he is fighting at the weight-class of 155, as there is no such thing as a "155 weight-class" ,he is pretending to be not in the MW division because of GGG.There are 17 divisions just pick one, if you can't make 154 then you are a MW, simple.

7---Carl froch - After calling GGG out then when GGG accepted ,he backed down and now he is retired after making all the fuss, + GGG was calling him for more than a year so no excuses for "retiring".

8---Andrea Ward. The diva of the 168lb division don't want to travel or meet the a-side GGG in a catchweight so he can become a good boy and get ktfo. Was willing to goto 160 for Floyd but when GGG said 164, Ward ducked + he was fine when Dawson came down a whole division for him but wont move half a division for GGG, smh

9---Hassaan ndam njikam -When Hassaan was WBO champ, he was ordered to a purse bid to face Golovkin no less than two times and he was a no show each time.

10---Darren Barker - When Barker defeated Geale to become IBF champ, his promoter openly said that Barker will fight any1 except GGG

Wow - GREAT post... This sums it up right here perfectly...

Most people forgot about N'Dam ducking him like the plague way back when.

              • He did not get the fights with the smaller guys moving up that he wanted. Called out pac and floyd who weigh 150 fight night.

Sergio and Cotto ducked him like *****s.

He refused to take his career in his own hands and move to 168. He is ok with fighting C and B level guys if thats all who is available. Hes not for taking risks and moving up a single weight class for new challenges.

                • I actually like Canelo but it'll be so funny if Golovkin knocks him out.

I can't wait to come onto these boards and see all these GGG haters get a big a big hot steaming load of **** plopped on their chest.

lol. Sanchez or K2 and whatever fake scenario you're laying out, were the same heads playing the same game as the fighters you're pointing out. it is very well documented and on video - if you want the link no prob. - that Sanchez states Lara is less of an attraction than Monroe Jr. Those were his words.

So stop *****in and defending, or pointing at other fighters - particularly A side champs - that don't need GGG. You then line up Quillin, Cotto, Canelo, Chavez Jr. wtf!?? cmon dude. It's fine you loving GGG and caps but be honest or wake up.
