Why has GGG's career been moved so slowly?

I don't know what the "walked Canelo down" thing is. I never weighed in on that.this is pretty much what it comes down to.
BBB, larry, dun, etc, just need to admit that they have biases. that's all. admit that you don't see things clearly where your fighters are concerned.
if you think floyd walked canelo down, for instance, you're a fanboy. if you participated in the 6 year race war on NSB, which all of you did, [and we all remember it,] you're a fanboy.
you guys are fanboys. just don't act like you're not, and we're cool
As for being a fan-I make no bones about being a Floyd fan. I also watched the sport for about 15 years before I ever saw Floyd fight in the Olympics.
You keep saying GGG is threat-how is he a threat? I am one of the few on NSB that BEGGED for the last fight to be GGG, even when criticizing him constantly saying it was his dream fight.
The Floyd/Manny thing is done with. Over. you keep bringing it up only to deflect from and label any poster that makes arguments you can't refute.
The criticisms of GGG are very fair and not motivated by anything other than his hypocrisy.Comment

It's not standard. It's reached a psychotic level like Floyd, pacquiao, and a few other polarizing figures. every boxer talks **** but I only see a few get the flack golovkin does. Where's the countless threads questioning kell brook? A guy who has ditched multiple fights that were actually made. theres multiple fighters to go after if what you're saying is true, but you guys don't. The thing that always makes me laugh is that you guys don't realize you're just as bad as the Floyd bashers, you just hide it better. the message is clear. The criticism GGG is getting is standard for NSB. Yet now that GGG is the subject, the criticisms are "biased" and "unfair". How is this possible? this would mean they were always biased and unfair on their face, but posters overlooked this depending on who the subject is.
I can't see how its unfair to hold him to what was said and question his motives when his actions contradict what is said.Comment

do you recognize that somebody who said that floyd walked canelo down has no idea what is going on in a boxing match?Comment

Obviously GGG's an NSB favorite and a much bigger name than Brook. The primary reason is A LOT of the ABSOLUTE WORST Manny fans jumped on the GGG bandwagon after May 2nd. Once they started acting the fool things got bad again. It's not standard. It's reached a psychotic level like Floyd, pacquiao, and a few other polarizing figures. every boxer talks **** but I only see a few get the flack golovkin does. I don't think its anywhere near as bad as Manny or Floyd though.Comment

Im not saying it doesnt happen to them, what I'm saying is only a fraction of it is valid. Golovkin should have fought ward if he was willing to fight anyone else at 168. Roast him for that. But you got guys on here throwing dirt on him because he didn't beat sturm for the belt. A guy who basically conceded and forfeited. Somehow that's used against golovkin as if that's his fault.Comment

Funny part is most of these detractors are Haymon fanatics whose heroes had to fight scrubs first when they step into higher division. And they were completely okay with it, even had wonderful excuses for it. Garcia's last fight was another Salka equivalent. The mismatch was excruciating to watch. His next fight is against another semi-retired opponent. Broner, got punked by a mere Madiana, certainly far from being a P4P #2 equivalent, and after getting schooled by Malignaggi.Comment

That I agree with. And they are doing it again for criticizing him for not fighting Canelo and Cotto.Im not saying it doesnt happen to them, what I'm saying is only a fraction of it is valid. only problem with that is the timeline. When GGG was seriously looking at 168 fights, Ward wasnt available. Fact. Period.Im not saying it doesnt happen to them, what I'm saying is only a fraction of it is valid. Golovkin should have fought ward if he was willing to fight anyone else at 168. Roast him for that. But you got guys on here throwing dirt on him because he didn't beat sturm for the belt. A guy who basically conceded and forfeited. Somehow that's used against golovkin as if that's his fault.
What the GGG hate squad expects is that AFTER ggg was finally getting his unifications lined up, that just because Ward suddenly popped up with a "but but but next year doe" offer, GGG is supposed to immediatley abandon his current track just for Ward, who is basically irrelevant in the sport at the moment.
Its an absurd premise.......Comment
