If Haymon brings fights to HBO that doesn't necessarily mean they gotta fight vs TR or GBP fighters. Haymon vs TR/GBP fighters might be an issue obviously, but beyond that I don't see a problem.
That could be an issue, but its not like they have deals with everyone & I honestly think Peter Nelson isn't like the rest of these guys. He wans big competitive fights. I think he could be a guy who'd let Kovalev fight his pizza delivery mandatory guy elsewhere. We'll see, but I suspect Nelson brings some new plays to the HBO game its just a matter of what they are exactly.2. I think that HBO would want to probably sign some of the Al Haymon advised guys to exclusive HBO contracts. But everyone knows that won't happen.
The reality is Haymon has had what I've referred to as "unofficial PBC" fights on Showtime since April or May. There have been 6 or so of them already. Showtime is in on the PBC plan. Espinoza said that at the beginning basically & its been true & continues being true. Idk why HBO couldn't be a similar ally in that regard.3. Also if Al Haymon wanted to come back. Is he signaling in some way that his PBC series isn't working. That he's already starting to get worried about the primetime network's viewership rating, and if it's actually losing the networks big time money? As well as it's costing his investors money putting up all the boxing content throughout various networks.
Again they've been doing that. Just looked it up & the Fonfora vs Chavez Jr fight was an unofficial PBC back on April 18 on Showtime. Wilder had one of his title defenses on Showtime in June. There have been numerous others like I said. This isn't some sort of plan B cuz of some sort of failure. Plan A always included Showtime & for all I know HBO too if it became open again like it allegedly is now.4. PBC hasn't even gone a full year yet. Isn't it way to early for them to start thinking about putting their boxers back on premium networks?Comment

Not like haymon does. Forget fighting the top fighters outside, haymon ain't even putting his top fighters in the ring against each other and those are in house fights. All hbo top fighters are fighting each other. For example Kovalev has fought hopkins and pascal. Now Kovalev has a deal to fight ward next year. Yet Stevenson the same fighter at that weight over the same stretch of time has fought what top fighter since leaving HBO? Look at khan, thurman, spence, ect and all the rest of the top haymon fighters at 147 not fighting each other or the top non haymon fighters. None of these guys are fighting anything but mismatches. What about at 154 Lara, charlo Bros, jwill, etc. None are fighting each other. Instead each facing weak competition fight after fight if they were HBO fighters do you think none of them would have been forced to fight each other by now? HBO turned down cotto fights unless he agreed to fight canelo. Ward was turned down unless he agreed to fight kovalev. With haymon controlling things there is no one to say no to mismatch fight unless you agree to fight so and so A list fighter. And that's why you see and endless stream of mismatches by haymon fighters and that's why HBO closed their doors to that BS. If you can't see the difference in the approach by HBO compared to Haymon then you are just blind.Comment

Judging by the comments, Nelson did a great job of convincing everyone that he said the opposite of what he actually said and meant.Comment
