There were several articles during the announcement of PBC where Espinoza said the plan was for some of the fighters to return to Showtime later in the year. That's what happened so clearly that was the plan. Not like Showtime suffered for it. They made a ****load of money in May. You may have heard about it.

So HBO would rather show Kovalev vs the pizza guy over Bute vs DeGale? Is that what you are trying to say? Cuz I disagree. I think if HBO was offered Chavez vs Fonfora, DeGale vs Bute or Jacobs vs Quillin those would be fights they would be interested in cuz they are potentially good competitive fights going in.

Yeah I might later, just surprised I missed it completely, I sometimes miss fights but at least I keep track of the results, but this time I had no idea it even happened. Fury beating Vlad must have overshadowed pretty much everything that day.

What else was he supposed to say? This man screwed me over? We got nothing but to hope haymon brings fighters back? lol HBO made a ton of money in may and still had tons of boxing before and after that fight. Showtime literally stopped showing fights and it had nothing to do with the Mayweather fight it was because haymon started a business that had nothing to do with showtime and used showtime fighters to do it. This was no plan with showtime they have no clue what haymon is doing which is why all year they couldn't speak to any specific fighters coming back because they didn't know who if any would be back. And those fighters only came back after PBC bombed. I will say it again if PBC is successful what purpose does showtime serve Haymon???

Yeah, he really screwed him over this year. Gave him the biggest fight in sports history and is still doing business with Showtime and their parent company. Poor Espinoza.

ok but haymon refuses to have his fighters on hbo. even turning down 1.4 million for one of his figthers and having him fight for 500k instead. how can they work with someone like that? money just doesn't matter. its about power. haymon also turned down a kovalev fight for beterbiev and tried to set him up with an eliminator to fight kovalev so he could steal his belt in purse bids like he has tried before so he wouldn't actually have to fight him.

Kovalev has fought Hopkins and pascal and HBO has a contract for ward to fight him next year. I say that is much better then a pizza guy. And much better then the guys Stevenson is fighting at the request of haymon. And why would HBO want Chavez vs fonfara which nobody thought would be a great fight at the time over Chavez vs GGG which would of been made had he not signed with haymon and left HBO? And Chavez vs fonfara aired the same day but was over shadowed by the better fight matthysee vs Ruslan. Degale Bute fight was overshadowed by the better Furry vs Klitscho HBO fight. Do you not see a pattern here in the fights HBO wants and is making vs the fights haymon wants and is making? The fights HBO chose to air instead of the ones you mentioned were all bigger more significant fights.

What has showtime done this year besides the Mayweather fight which they already had anyway? and one they had to split with HBO. And what fighters do they have under contract in case haymon yanks all his fighters away...again? Because haymon is doing business with him this month who knows 6 months from now if thats the case. IN the meantime How many top 10 p4p does showtime have? Who is the next pay per view star on showtime? Why are Showtime tv ratings down by like half from last year if there are no negative effects of PBC? I'll wait for these answers.

So you think Haymon is going to stop putting fights on CBS and Showtime?

                    Seriously.

But what they won't do is allow haymon to force his mismatched fights to HBO and expect them to over pay for them. Until haymon changes how he does business I don't see any change anytime soon. Let Haymon keep screwing up showtime and rob his PBC investors till they fold. Let HBO put on real fights.
problem with hbo putting on the real fights is hbo dont put on enough
