Fury's just better than him at everything. The only advantage Wlad has over him is one punch KO power.

He just found a way to take away Wlad's best weapons and lets be fair, Wlad doesn't have that much in his arsenal. The things he does possess are excellent like his jab, right hand and left hook. Take them away and you're left with a very average fighter. And that's no disrespect, he's been a great champion for a long time and did it with limited tools.

Those 3 things are good enough to beat almost anybody else because he's perfected them but he's just come up against a fighter who's a stylistic nightmare for him and smart enough to figure out how to take them away from him and good enough to execute the plan. I can't see how a rematch makes a difference or age. Wlad is Wlad, he fought saturday the way he always does.

He's so stuck in his ways as a fighter than it come back to bite him on saturday, probably a victim of his own success because his few tools have been good enough. At 39 he's not going to suddenly develop new ways to adjust.

Really all three options are true.

Hard to say it's strictly down to age because Klitschko always fought like that, but at the same time a fresher one 32-34 would have a better chance negating Fury's work and pull the trigger.

The main thing was 2FAST's combination speed, size and skills.

Wlad had no answer for it.

As a Fury fan I have no problems admitting that it was a combination of age and Fury's quality that led to Wlad's loss. Saying that, I think post-Steward Wlad would have always struggled with a fighter like Fury, though I think it's a given he'd have done significantly better a couple of years ago. Timid mindset is what it is though, and Fury proved that if you keep Wlad from getting comfortable he freezes up.

Ironically, I think the earlier more vulnerable Wlad of the Sanders and Brewster losses would have given him a much better fight. That version wasn't afraid to let it all hang out.

Fury caught him at just the right time - he wouldn't have beaten the Vlad that beat Haye.

Reach and footwork, combined with Wlad's caution. Wlad looked incapable of just taking what was available. Everything has to be perfect before he'll let his hands go and that killed him against Fury.

Fury got inside Vlad's head outside the ring.

Inside the ring his movement took Vlad's jab away.

It was not pretty, but the overall plan worked perfectly.

I don't think age played a part at all to be honest.

Fury beat Klicko with his reach and his feints and movements, so Vlad couldnt reach him without putting himself in risk.

The biggest factor was Furys height and reach.
