He does. People look at the image and assume a guy like Fury would have bad stamina. Actually too much muscle is also a bad thing in boxing.

Joe Calzaghe was never the most ripped guy actually but like Jones said around the time he fought him, Calzaghe could start the fight on Saturday and still be fighting on Tuesday and not gas out.

Some people like Fury just have a great core stamina. A guy like Haye looks the part on the outside, you might not be able to find better boxing physiques in terms of how he looks but his stamina is actually not that good.

Fury is just a tremendous athlete,i think Haye is right when he says Klitschko won't go through with the rematch.Wladimir was/is mentally beaten.I want a proper unification fight with Wilder, tyson will make him miss widely and make him pay.

Scott-Weiland? Don't you mean his new name, Miley Cyrus?

He's alright actually, he sent me a PM on the night eating his crow & finally acknowledging Fury's class. It's going to take a long time for him to live this humiliation down though.

He does understand boxing as well, he just loves Wladimir so much that it blinds him to reason.

This is exactly why Fury will beat Anthony Joshua. All Fury has to do is dance around for a few rounds letting AJ punch himself out, and he'll be absolutely knackered after half the fight and Fury will knock him out. Too much muscle to carry around. Boxing is a sport, not a body building contest.

I was going to mention Joshua in my post actually but couldn't be bothered opening that can of worms.

Joshua looks more like a body builder than a boxer and could be very prone to gassing. Look at Lewis v Bruno. Bruno actually started well but carried way too much muscle and gassed very quickly and that's the last thing you want to do in front of an intelligent fighter.

Feints and footwork played just as much a factor.

I'm convinced Wlad could never beat a 6ft 9in big man that can move, feint, switch hit and taunt you all at the same time. Outside of landing a crushing lefthook-right hand combo (God knows Klitschko has never put those two punches together in sequence) no version of Wlad has a chance of winning legitimately on the cards.

Straight from the horses mouth. You need to start paying attention to the gypsy warrior. He talks ****e sometimes, but he knows boxing inside out.

Working on my feet full time, as the foot work will win this fight, not the punches, it's all about the movement,

5 Steps to mental victory in Muhammad Ali's footsteps:

                1. Successful trash-talk

                2. Continue trash-talk and clowning too long

                .....continued.

                  3. Unpredicted rage just before the fight

                  4. Continued taunting during fight

                  5. Show superior strength and size

                  .

I'd say 80% of it was age. Wlad became very risk averse after getting KOd 10 years ago, and it's gotten much worse with age. The older you are, the more risk averse you are.

Fury put on a better show, landed a few decent punches, and opened an early cut with an accidental headbutt, which made everything look better for him.

I'm surprised and happy for Fury for his accomplishment.. but I can't take him seriously. That was not a fight. Any boxer that had some fire in him would have knocked his ass on the ground the minute he started with this:

Perhaps he didn't show up because he couldn't due to his age.
