He blatantly tried to headbutt Fury and did most of the holding, infact Wlad has made career out of excessive holding.

I guess Wlad wasn't dirty vs Povetkin either?

I noticed that, but isn't it an indication of a shot boxer?

      • Wladimir was afraid to let his hands go because he knew he would get knocked spark out by a Fury counter.

That's why he fought like a coward.

His performance belongs next to Seldons and Brunos as one of the worst for a champion defending his belt.

        • Fury was great to be able to do what he did, he proved to be a tremdous boxer and he'd make a good champ too.

OBVIOUSLY the loss had more to do with Wladimir being both aged and complacent and lazy as well.

I think he can do muich better and beat Fury in the rematch..

THEN he had better retire though else it will happen again from others too.

To suppose the first option, that Fury would have beaten any version of Wladimir is absolutely ridiculous!

There is no evidence of such.

What we have seen is the BEST Fury to date beat the WORST Wladimir to date and only marginally at that!

^ Anything to the contrary is beginning to sound almost similary to Nut Baggery I am afraid!

The Brits should leave THAT to the Americans and keep their assessments factual and realistic and honourable.

He (Fury) just won the title, that's an achievement in itself. Claiming he is OVERALL better than the most dominant champ in history is a major overshoot.

          • VL: What did you make of Tyson Fury’s victory over Klitschko?

Bryant Jennings: "I don’t want get into it. It wasn’t my cup of tea. I didn’t like the performances, period, more so, Klitschko’s performance. I don’t know; he might be sick. Something might be wrong with him on the inside. He didn’t look right to me."

VL: He didn’t look like himself?

Bryant Jennings: "Yes, he hasn’t been himself. Something happened to him from the time he had the baby (with partner Hayden Panettiere) up until today."

Harsh, but the first part (in bold) is right I think, he was worried by what would come back to him.

Fury wasn't exactly taking risks either let's not forget, but he was better on the backfoot than Wlad was on the front-foot pressuring.

I really don't think it was down to age, but rather styles. I didn't have it that wide to Fury either, he won close but clear for me.

                • Fury mentally beat Wlad and kept up the winning mental attitude with his superior speed and movement and show boating which left Wlad unable to pull the trigger.

                  • The nut bags are doing the sport a great disservice but sadly it should have been anticipated.

The is no limit to how low the nug bag will sink to discredit the former Soviet fighters, promote past-time bums and generally take a crap on all the fghters who box today.

Most importantly they ROB Tyson Fury of his real dues by granting him fictional ones which in turn forces many many guys who would be singing his praise to comment against him in an effort to be factually correct.

Sadly, that is the nature of the nut bag
