What's the problem with a catchweight for Canelo-Golovkin? Golovkin demanded a catchweight to rise to his 2nd weight class to fight the best SMW in the world. Why can't Canelo demand a catchweight in his 4th weight class to fight the best MW in the world?

Canelo/GGG reminds me of that game "The Price is Right" And how the last guy can ALWAYS pretty much beat all the other ones bids...

I'll bet you all the points that the WBC doesn't strip Canelo. Heck I'll bet more than that if anyone wants!!!

I don't think its an issue of fairness as much as it is an issue of economics. Also, being a Floyd fan doesn't mean your opinion on every issue is pre determined.

As deplorable as it is, good guys have done it, bad guys have done it.

If it happens again I don't care. I see it as an obstacle a great fighter overcomes. If GGG overcomes it, he gets more credit.

Agreed to a degree. In doing this, Canelo will have to deal with all the criticism that comes his way. That said, GGG and his team put themselves in a bad position with what they said.

Desperate men say things. when they are not so desperate they often regret when it is thrown back in their face. That's all that is happening to GGG.

Then GGG wouldn't have accepted the fight. Why fight floyd at 154 for 1-2 millions if he can gain 1-2 millions at his natural weight.

Can Wladimir Klitschko challenge for the middleweight belt with a catchweight of 250lbs?

                  Yes if he's A-side doe.

Under or over limits doesn't matter. Either middleweight is a thing or it isn't. Everything else is idiotic fanboy crap.

Canelo needs to move up. The 155 challenge is not a challenge at all. For a fighter who claims he wants to be great, this is not the way to do it.
