What's the problem with a catchweight for Canelo-Golovkin? Golovkin demanded a catchweight to rise to his 2nd weight class to fight the best SMW in the world. Why can't Canelo demand a catchweight in his 4th weight class to fight the best MW in the world?

Surprised Floyd boys aren't in an uproar about this as the supposed vanguards of fair game. Under no circumstances should Canelo be allowed to win another middleweight belt at a catchweight. Golovkin should give him the middle finger and the fans should tell him to grow a set, this is deplorable.

I don't think its an issue of fairness as much as it is an issue of economics. Also, being a Floyd fan doesn't mean your opinion on every issue is pre determined.

As deplorable as it is, good guys have done it, bad guys have done it.

If it happens again I don't care. I see it as an obstacle a great fighter overcomes. If GGG overcomes it, he gets more credit.

The problem is its not just GGG. It looks like he created a whole new weight class 155, i don't doubt his next division is 156 when 155 gets to hard to make. Some fighter do CW like Floyd and Pac but not like this. What Canelo is doing is shameful.

Agreed to a degree. In doing this, Canelo will have to deal with all the criticism that comes his way. That said, GGG and his team put themselves in a bad position with what they said.

Desperate men say things. when they are not so desperate they often regret when it is thrown back in their face. That's all that is happening to GGG.

Floyd would have fcked GGG at the table. He would have made 1-2 million tops and made him weigh in at 154

Then GGG wouldn't have accepted the fight. Why fight floyd at 154 for 1-2 millions if he can gain 1-2 millions at his natural weight.

Canelo needs to move up. The 155 challenge is not a challenge at all. For a fighter who claims he wants to be great, this is not the way to do it.
