You obviously think the boxing world revolves around HBO PPV figures. It doesn't. That's just the American live TV audience. GGG's fights are televised all over the world. I watched GGG/Lemieux on Boxnation PPV, in the UK.

Wlad became one of the biggest stars in boxing without any HBO PPV coverage at all. If GGG becomes boxings only unified, 4 belt world champ he can do the same, and the big HBO numbers would certainly come after that.

Canelo won't get fights with Floyd or Manny, btw. But even if he did, why should that worry Golovkin?

So all of a sudden American television numbers don't mean **** because GGG is a f.uck'n nobody over here. Sure if I were loser enough to dig through your post history, I could find a post or two about Ward's lack of drawing power as an excuse not to fight him. Oh yeah, pretty sure I could find something about him being on BET. Yet now HBO is meaningless too. You're a clown homie. Well, now the ball is in GGG and his team court. They need to decide between getting their biggest fight/purse possible and bend to Canelos's catchweight demands or getting the WBC belt. If Canelo gets stripped by the WBC, he's still the Lineal Middleweight Champion!

Lineal means nothing if your not defending it against middleweights.....if canelo gets stripped he will be universally recognised as ducking golovkin and it makes no difference whether he's lineal or not.....154-160 has always been the middlweight limit and it will still be a long time after canelo has retired... I have no issues with canelo not fighting golovkn I have issues with the mexican trying to change the rules of boxing which has been around for over a century in terms of weight classes

Its funny, because Canelo fans seem to know he isnt on GGG level, so they think maybe if he can drain him to 155, maybe the age difference will hurt GGG more than Canelo.

GGG came in at 157 for Monroe, and not long ago he was training down to fight one of these guys. Its all posturing.

I highly doubt Canelo even wants to fight at 155, he just hopes GGG wont call him on the bs, because he is scared.

In reality, 3 MW titles, the lineal and ring mag title would be on the line. Its is silly for that to happen 1 pound above JR.MW when both fighters rehydrate over 170.

Canelo has no issues having a huge weight advantage against Cotto, but ask the man to fight GGG, at a weight he is lineal champion at, and that is too much.

De La Hoya says he is not at his man weight yet. Come on, he is very much in his man weight.

The problem is they are scared that not only does GGG beat Canelo, he exposes the facade.

So basically all this "I'm ready"**** from Canelo was just talk.he got the wbc160lb belt and will just vacate to avoid ggg.he can't force ggg to fight @155 because it's the mw belt.
