If Lara really wants the fight, and believes he will win, he'll accept what HBO offer as he will make $$ after he beats Golovkin. If . . .

However I also think that there are also convenient excuses, "noone wants it . . .; HBO won't pay . . . ; etc" for Team Golovkin to not take a fight they don't fancy stylistically as well!

Lara ran all night against Vanes effing Martirosyan. He will use Lance Armstrong's bike against Golovkin.

      Make it happen, nonetheless.

I hope HBO would do it on a regular basis so that these Haymon fighters will no longer have any excuse why such and such fight can't happen.
Canelo/Cotto, Lee/Saunders, Quillin/Jacobs might not happen for him next year. If Golovkin wants recognition at being the baddest man at 160 then he needs to do more than fight Tureano Johnson.

GGG has a repetitive cycle that he needs to break. He fights a **** fighter, then he fights 2 mediocre top 10 MW's.

2013: Ishida then Macklin & Stevens
2014: Adama then Geale & Rubio
2015: Monroe then Murray & Lemieux

        2016: T.Johnson then Lee & N'Dam??? - Not good.

If he wants to continue to raise his profile, it's time to upgrade his formula. Lara's a good start, especially if it leads to getting the Quillin/Jacobs winner later in the year. It also puts Tureano in another fight maybe against N'Dam to upgrade GGG's mandatory defense into a better fight.

Lara's more established than anyone Golovkin's fought so far. He's been on tv more times and had bigger wins (Angulo, Trout) with high profile controversial losses (Alvarez, Williams).

GGG won't be on PPV again for a little while, his purse has got to come down from his last fight. Lara agreed to a 70/30 split against Canelo, I'd wager he'd agree something similar for GGG.

The fight should happen, I don't see anyone else at the top level around 160 without a fight lined up for GGG. The winner of Cotto-Canelo doesn't want GGG, Quillin-Jacobs winner doesn't want it. Andy Lee might want it but he will get beat by Saunders and Saunders said hes at least a year out from a GGG fight.

            All time great exexcuses;
-Golovkin would KO him so they don't need to fight. (is this an NSAC rule?)
-Promoters don't get along and they shouldn't even try (great things happen when you give up before you start).
-Lara too expensive doe (because we are somehow privy to the financial negotiations).
-Lara has no belt (even though no one with a belt is waiting in line).
-Lara brings no money (oops, neither does Genady).
-Lara too small (every fighter from 154 to168, except the skilled ones).
-When the above fails and you can no longer legitimately defend Golovkin, call someone an idiot and pretend to laugh so they don't see your tears....

30% vs GGG on HBO is way less than he makes for mismatches like Delvin and Zaveck.

Lol you're an very butthurt idiot. Many of those are legit reasons why this fight is hard to make. You understand, if you're making 1m for bums, you're not taking 800k to get knocked out by GGG?

If it was boring GGG vs Lemieux I don't want to even imagine vs Lara.

Fcku Lara he is boring as hell I don't want to see him never ever.
