Maybe they will fight if Lara is really going to 160. Up until now, it's not like Lara is a huge target to go after for a middleweight, let alone Golovkin. You don't see guys like Quillin, Andy Lee, etc doing everything they can to fight Lara lol why would they? You don't even see guys at 154 aiming for Lara. Usually if a guy from a bigger weight class calls out a smaller guy it's because they are huge names and it would be a big fight, you typically don't see bigger guys calling out random top 5 guys in a weight class below them who aren't big names. It's like saying why isn't Golovkin calling out Vanes or Charlo?

I dont think anyone expect GGG to call out Lara, Lara is doing exactly what he should be doing. Calling out GGG because he wants the fight. And to be honest with the fighters GGG has been fighting so far, it is safe to say Lara would probably be his biggest test to date.

Would love to see it. Golovkin's haters won't give him any credit for it but for most boxing fans it would be an interesting watch. Lara is a legit top level fighter with more credibility than anyone GGG has faced. I'm pretty sure Golovkin would beat him but it would be a new challenge at the very least.

I pick him to beat that same Macklin easily, that Macklin had one round under his belt after his KO loss to Martinez. And Lara would box Murray to a decision anytime of the day. Lara is a fighter that makes you look bad period and a win over him for GGG would be over those names mentioned.
