...and that's the saddest part of all of this. Everybody expected this **** from Cotto (his fans shamelessly support it), but Mexican fighters were supposed to be different. Not so.

It won't be two Mac trucks colliding . . . It will be the big GGG Truck crumpling a bright orange Mexican VW Beetle

Cotto/Canelo will be like this to GGGTards...
If this was already posted, so be it. I'll post it again anyway:
              Rule 3.4.
3.11 Immediate Rematch Policy. The WBC does not recognize immediate rematch clauses in bout agreements and will not sanction or authorize immediate rematches, unless it determines in its sole discretion, with the authorization of or ratification by two-third (2/3rd) of the Board of Governors, that:
              (a) the conduct or result of the bout was controversial or irregular;
              (b) there is sufficient public demand; or
              (c) a direct rematch would otherwise be in the best interests of the division or boxing.
If the WBC determines that an immediate rematch is appropriate pursuant to this preceding rule, it may order the rematch as a mandatory bout, permit a requested rematch as a voluntary bout, or sanction the bout as a special bout under Rule 3.8.
If the WBC orders such a rematch, it may also rule the winner of the immediate rematch comply with mandatory defense obligations existing at the time of the original contest, or may grant the winner one or more optional defenses prior to fulfilling any mandatory obligations.

As I read it, the WBC with a 2/3 Board of Governors vote can do about anything it wants; however, a rematch isn't mandatory. We fans will have to wait and see. Nothing is guaranteed at this point. Nothing.

Interviewer sucks balls. They should have asked DLH his thoughts on Floyd marinating the Pac fight away from GBP. Still butthurt he didnt get a cut on that fight.

Add to the equation that Trinidad - Hopkins was postponed by 3 weeks after 09/11 terrorrist attack (Bhop went back to train in Philly, while Tito remained in NY helping, and trying to keep his peak condition on a threadmill) That affected his performance, hence the results. The fight would have been different without none of this factors.

.... Canelo has been fight at Middleweight for some years now (155 pounds) he is an pretty much an stablished MW already.... hehehe

yeah imagine that, take 1 fight to get used to 160 and then fight the champion... at 160. No catchweight because trinidad is the A side (which obviously he was). Fighters have really lost their balls in the last decade. And cotto wonders why he dont get the same love that trinidad had.

Canelo is same size or bigger than GGG, and is in same division.
Ward's last fight was 172, and he said he needs to cut to make 175. That makes him between 1.5 to 2 divisions above GGG.
Ward is either at Kov's limit or slightly under it.

There's also the issue of Golovkin being Cotto/Canelo's mandatory, as well as Ward having no other legitimate options besides Kovalev, which again, is not true for Golovkin and Cotto. Canelo doesn't have as many options - he's too big to fight at 147 or 154.

GGG isnt avoiding Lara or Ward, hes just letting those marinate.

Quit lying! They both very much care about the title. It provides a possibility to lure Mayweather with that "lineal" crap. Which was already discredited by Martinez, who wanted to avoid GGG and went for supposed soft fight with small Cotto. But casual fans do not care about these details. So Canelo and Cotto can play in their safe sandbox and pretend to be middleweights for one audience but turn around and claim that they are not - for another audience. How convenient...
