I really despise this marinate strategy that promoters have way too often. I think this is more GBP betting on an older GGG getting a lil older before they fight him cuz they are putting the value of this fight at risk by bypassing it right now & I don't believe the upside is gonna be THAT much greater in a year than it is now.

Kinda rooting for Canelo vs Cotto to be a draw at this point just so they have a reasonable expectation to decide who's best among themselves without a title at stake in 2016 & then the winner can fight GGG late 2016 & whats happening right now not seem like such a huge cop out more than a money grab or just flexing their A side ability to get the max advantage.

In his open letter to Mayweather he said Golden Boy is about the best fighting the best. The Lemiuex/GGG fight needed to marinate, not this fight.
