Forget Canelo. Let's have Golovkin vs Lara in early next year. Lara doesn't need marination.

if GGG wants it now he will have to call canelo at whatever weight canelo fights... before the kirkland fight canelo said the plan was to get a title fight at 154 in the near future, so if that happens 155 will be out of the question for GGG, he will have to make 154 for that fight...
and ill be honest if the fights happens tomorrow at 160 i will give GGG the edge, if it happens at 155 or 154 edge for canelo IMO, and if it happens late 2016 or early 2017 at 160 it will be a close fight...

See the difference?
We're even giving Little Rigo a pass for not moving up 4 measly pounds in a very low-weight class and duck Loma.. We also gave Floyd a pass for ducking Triple G while being champion at 154..the weight division the fight would have happened...
I see where you are going with this..you're basically defending the duckers... that's fine..
And I am surprised you imply Rigo is getting a pass (for what? Already fights bigger guys), when out of all the boxers you listed....
Only GGG has not moved up or down to chase a fight. when he is outweighted by 20 lbs like Floyd against Canelo, let me know.
Floyd a ducker ? He moved 5 divisions or so.
GGG refuses to move to force fights
So, who is getting the pass?

If you're a boxing fan, you shrug, laugh, and see it for what it is: boxers making their best decision for their careers (as they think)
But if you're one dimensional fan of either, all of them are cowards except for your guy. Have to say it though, GGG fans are the worst at this.
Cotto is smaller than GGG, but is in same division.
Canelo is same size or bigger than GGG, and is in same division.
Ward's last fight was 172, and he said he needs to cut to make 175. That makes him between 1.5 to 2 divisions above GGG.
Ward is either at Kov's limit or slightly under it.
There's also the issue of Golovkin being Cotto/Canelo's mandatory, as well as Ward having no other legitimate options besides Kovalev, which again, is not true for Golovkin and Cotto. Canelo doesn't have as many options - he's too big to fight at 147 or 154.

If Golovkin beats Alvarez now, he won't receive alot of credit like what happened with Lemeiux.

Canelo is not bigger than GGG. Fight night weight is no evidence. Rios was heavy last week. But he has never fought a true 160 lbs. If They were the same size, GGG would be going down to 154. But I bet you GGG can't actually make it that low. Canelo can. With that said, once Canelo grows into 160, and if GGG is still there, then of course it becomes blatant.
To me the larger thing is GGG. His PPV bombed. He has no leverage. Clearly the other two guys don't want to fight him either ever or at this point, call it a duck, call it fair, it doesn't matter. What GGG needs to do is call their bluff, move to 154 (he claims to be a small MW), or move his ass to 168 and chase other fights. He can't be sitting around waiting for guys who don't want to fight him. Call their bluff or chase something else.
