    a 168lbs boxer fighting a 155lbs boxer for a 147lbs belt. interesting.

ummmm genius Floyd fan, what is happening in boxing is that at the weigh in fighters will weigh @ 147lbs 146lbs.

on the night of the fight after rehydration.

        Fighter A weighs 168lbs
        Fighter B weighs 155lbs

both of them fighting for a Welter Weight belt of 147lbs.

is that not interesting with you.

i appreciate you referring to me as a genius, but not everyone smarter than you is actually a genius. you're just below average intelligence. i would support a rehydration clause.

so now you understand what the F i am talking about genius Floyd fan?

you rejected my suggestion that i don't care about same day weigh in or a day before the fight weight but both fighters should not weigh more than 5lbs of the weight division. only to suggest that you support rehydration clause.

with rehydration clause the A side fighter decides the weight limit and the other guy who just want the fight because of the money will just say yes to all the conditions.

            then you will see again

            fighter A 168lbs
            fighter B 155lbs

genius floyd fan who is smarter than me

Can't be bothered with all the responses, so I'll cut to the chase. Yes, same day weigh-ins should return. What's the use of having weight limits, only to have 20-30 pound weight disparities on the night of the fight. It's a sham. Only in boxing can you have a guy make 160 pounds and show up for the fight weighing 185 pounds. What the hell is that all about? Technicalities aside, if you can't make a ****ing weight class, move on to the next one.

                Simple as.

usually when someone drains that much weight it's more of a detriment than an advantage.

the friday weigh ins were introduced to get people to gamble at the casinos for two nights instead of one.
