Are you sure? I mean there is a guy in another thread saying a GGG vs Ward fight is meaningless so how can Ward vs Kovalev be meaningful? I mean after all, nobody cares about Ward right?

Why do you think this fight is going to happen ... because Kathy Duva says so?

Depends on who else does what. If Roman gets fights like Estrada ands Nietes and keeps the form he's been on, he's going to be hard to unseat.

well if the fight wasnt happenig, she wouldnt have much problem slandering ward and roc nation, shes infamous for doing so to another fighter at 175. i mean lets see:

ward: roc nation & hbo (both dont deal with haymon)
kovalev: ME & hbo (both dont deal with haymon for the most part)

          both p4p top5
          undefeated
          world champions
both sides have shown positive interest in the fight

so please, do tell on how the fight does not get made. im intrigued

Duva says Ward and his team are in the process of finalizing an multi-fight agreement with HBO, and that deal includes a fight with Kovalev.

Thats exactly what I was hoping, Ward has officially moved to 175.

                Good job !

This is the best news the Golovtards have heard all weekend

BOTH sides have shown positive interest? .. You sure about that?

Have you heard Andre Ward and Virgil Hunter say one word about wanting to fight Kovalev?

Ever occur to you that the reason Duva is saying this is to put pressure on Ward and, if Andre doesn't fight Kovalev, to give the impression to the fans that Krusher is P4P king by default .... because the only other contender is scared to fight him?

Nah, not from that fight only.

And would beating Ward/old Hopkins/old Pascal get Kovalev in the HOF ?

Kovalev deserves credit for Hopkins, but that is really only one top win.

I see Kovalev as just established, and Golovkin as barely established.

A win over Ward would be epic for Sergey, but he would need a little more than that I think.

                      What p$p? Lol

P4P will be between ROMAN CHOCOLATITO GONZALEZ and GGG GOLOVKIN.
