If not another P4P fighter than just Top fighters in your Division would help. For Gonzalez, I think him vs Juan Francisco Estrada again would be great for him. He is already considered #1 by most so all he has to do is keep winning to be honest

For GGG the winner of Cotto vs Canelo would be big for him

For Wlad he really don't need it, the man haven't lost in like 12 years but beating young guys like Fury and Wilder will be just a Bonus for him and his career

And the same would apply for Ward/Golovkin.

But I dont agree that P4P listers have to fight each other for recognition.

That leaves Klitschko and Chocolatito hung out to dry.

Fightn and beatn another P4Per would certainly boost ones p4p rating. Its not the only way though..its about comp and the #1 spot has always been held by the guy who has defeated better comp and more of, than any other fighter out there..in their respective division(s)...i say that bcuz p4p spans the entire sport and if we go by ur criteria, Chocalito would have to move up to 168or 175, beat Ward or Kov just to become p4p...u see what im getn at?

which takes me back to my original point, if duva felt that the fight wouldnt get made, she would be showing it. and yes both sides are showing interest in it. why would they be projecting this in late 2016, why would roc nation sign ward if it wasnt trying to make big fights, theyve already done what TR failed to do a fight-by-fight basis with cotto, secure him the canelo fight on his terms. why would HBO want to re-up andre without a commitment to kovalev. even hbo didnt want the geale fight unless cotto made a commitment to deliver a canelo fight, which he has. im all for trying to push for the best fights in boxing. if duva wanted to put pressure on ward or roc nation, all she has to say is "we have a contract with andre's name missing, and it will be here at any time" thats what theyre trynna do with stevenson.
