That is one of the popular myths but it's just not true. It predates Robinson and can be found well over a decade before he turned pro. For instance, run simple search with ["pound for pound" and "boxing" and "Armstrong"] on the NYTimes website, sort by oldest, and you can find references to Henry Armstrong in, say, 1937.
    And Tony Canzoneri before Armstrong.

          Nicaragua: Central America.

Wlad is from Eastern Europe, dropped down to #6 for no reason, no loss, no inactivity, no refusal to fight the best (Probably even scheduled in the second best match after Cotto-Canelo).

There are references after his retirement to Fitzsimmons as well.

I think that Wlad is in for a bigger challenge with Fury (If that fight ever actually happens now) than Gonzalez is with Viloria.

Fury is 26, 6'9", big guy, good power, undefeated.

Viloria is 34, 5'4", decent power, has several losses already, has been stopped in the past 5 years, and is most likely at the tail end of his career.

Man I hate the hype that guy is getting though. Trust me, you don't want to see Viloria knock his teeth out more than me. You think you do, but you don't. Ifi'm not working that night, I'll tune in through a stream when that fight happens, just to see if Viloria can KO him or beat him.

                      tyson fury is trash bro.

viloria has great chin. his 1 "KO" loss he was just gassed. it was his last fight at 108.

viloria problem is he gasses late rounds. all his losses, he was up until he gasses.
