Blasphemous to say that about 2FAST Fury.

I think that since Wlad is old now, he is there for the taking. And I think Fury is the type of big, young fighter with good power that can catch Wlad with a good shot at this point and put him to sleep. Do I have Fury winning that fight? No, I think Wlad wins. But I think that Wlad is in for a tough fight because he is now going to be the smaller, shorter guy and will be against a younger guy who can punch. Wlad will not be dwarfing anyone in this fight, or using his jab as a type of "stay away from me midget" type of punch. He is going to fight a huge, tall guy now and Tyson is not a bad fighter.

Good post. I think p4p cannot be underestimated as it has been monetized, (unless there is a placeholder like Choccy), but as for legitimacy when it comes to assessment of who would beat who in some logic suspending mental exercise, it's just as you put it: fun speculation.

Unless someone comes along with an agenda and is trying to over emphasize the p4p h2h analytical aspects of the p4p concept. That's when things get laughable for all the wrong reasons.

          You.

          Yes.

Is Viloria your brother or something?

God still loves you, bro. All you need do is look around you to see evidence of intelligent design. And all you need do is research the obvious correlation between those who suspend morality and their levels of faith. There are outliers, of course, but the overwhelming majority of faith based people also uphold morality. The reality of that is those who claim religion who do evil are fake in faith anyway, or worshipping the wrong thing. Your choice.

Maybe it hurts their manhood that the best fighter on the planet is 112 pounds.

We don't know what Roman is yet. If he keeps winning for the next 3-4 years, given that there is some serious talent at 112 now, and at the top of 115 and 118 he could face, he may stick.

He could also lose to Viloria. That's a real fight.

                Time will tell.

He has been a champion in all 3 divisions.

He is the current Ring/Lineal Champion at Flyweight.

He was ranked #1 fighter by Ring mag and others in all 3 divisions he was in.

He is currently undefeated at 43-0, which gives him the aura of being unbeatable.

He has 37 KO's in those 43 wins, which means few were competitive with him.

He has several wins over quality opponents:

Yutaka Nida, who was #1 Strawweight at the time.
Katsunari Takayama, a Top 10 Strawweight at the time.
Juan Francisco Estrada, current #1 ranked Flyweight.
Edgar Sosa, current Top 10 Flyweight.
Rocky Fuentes, a Top 10 Flyweight at the time.
Omar Salado, former Top 10 Light Flyweight.

And he's about to fight Brian Viloria, so you can't say he only fought bums.

Most importantly, he passes the eye test. He looks good. He fights good.
the arguments against are too strong, guys like Wlad, Kovalev, Bradley, Pavquiao, Rigondeaux (possibly) and even Canelo have all beaten better opponents and at times, might have looked better doing it. They have all had better title reigns or longer title reigns.

As much as I like watching the little guys fight, there isn't much quality south of featherweight, too many top guys have records like 13-3 or 22-5. So, Gonzalez being no.1 doesn't make sense.

P4P is who is the best right now, who wins head to head, if everyone was the same size.

It's not who is GREATEST or has BEST RESUME.

                    Example:

If Roman was 6 foot 7 245 lbs. and you translated his power, speed at Flyweight over to Heavyweight, would he beat current Wlad?

If Wlad was 5 foot 4 112 lbs. and you translated his power, speed at Heavyweight to a Flyweight, would he beat Roman at 112?
Lol at a mini wlad one-twoing and clinching his way to a flyweight title.
