As a fan of both, I'll take Gonzalez there but the current p4p list shouldn't be about entire careers as much as what you've done and shown somewhat recently to me. That's why I wouldn't rate Ward as in the top three *right now*. I do rate heavyweights p4p too. I'd be cool with Wlad at two.

actually he is arguing your point.

he's saying estrada (WHO ROMAN BEAT) is better than lara (WHO CANELO BEAT)

juan francisco estrada - current #1 contender at flyweight
juan francisco estrada - current WBA and WBO champion
juan francisco estrada - who just beat viloria, melindo and segura

        yeah that estrada.

btw you guys are on BOXINGSCENE crying over RING, ESPN, etc. having Roman #1 P4P.

i hope you realize BOXINGSCENE has yet to update its P4P List.

do you guys know who was BOXINGSCENE #2 P4P behind Mayweather?

          Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzales.

wanna guess who will be #1 P4P, since Floyd retired, when BOXINGSCENE updates its P4P list?

So, will Viloria be p4p #1 after he knocks out Gonzalez?

At a 190 lbs, I can't find any enthusiasm for minimum weights, straw weights, fly weights... and ect. May as well be watching female boxers. Putting Gonzalez as #1 is a very premature move. It's like they didn't want to tip the power balance in boxing to someone that matters like Ward, Kovalev, or Vlad, so they found themselves a relatively unknown safe option. Bleh.

What had Estrada accomplished before late 2012? Not much. Gonzalez beat a "green" Estrada, not the current version. That's a classic example of a win that looks better a few months/years later.

Beating Lara in 2014 > beating Estrada in 2012.

estrada was 26-1 and that 1 loss he avenged.

estrada beat viloria and melinda a few months later in his following 2 fights.

let's not act like roman beat estrada YEARS earler okay?

estrada beat brian viloria for the WBA/WBO belts in his next fight, 4-5 months later.

minimum and straw is same division.

what power balance are you talking about?

a lot of ppl had choco #2 BEFORE mayweather retired (INCLUDING BOXINGSCENE). so wtf are you on about really? it's like you just discovered roman was on the p4p list.

                      nope.

viloria doesn't have that undefeated thing going for him.
