yeah, if you spend too much time thinking about the actual mechanics of "pound-for-pound" it is quickly reduced to an absurdity. i sometimes think that the smaller guys might develop better skills out of necessity due to the faster pace though

This notion that GGG is being ducked by everyone is a fallacy. Canelos last fight was at 154.5, Cottos last fight he weighed 153.5...what did GGG weigh in on his last fight? Exactly.

When GGG can make it down to 155 he can catch that fade, by either Cotto or Canelo. Until then he will wait in line, and wait his turn like a good boy.
When was the last time Cotto and Canelo had a fight at 154 or below?, Exactly Canelo will not have fought at 154 for his 4 fights on november and Cotto for his 3 fights. Now whats right above JMW? exactly

Now for the ducking issue, here educate urself...

        Boxers that ducked/ducking GGG

1---felix sturm - wouldn't fight him for over 2 years when GGG was mandatory.

2---peter quillin - said he will only fight for the may-pac kind of money, lol

3---sergio martinez - "His promoter said that "no way I am putting him with this monster"

4---hassaan ndam njikam - was ordered to a purse bid to face Golovkin no less than two times and he was a no show each time.

5---miguel cotto - didn't want to fight him despite being mandatory.

6---julio cesar chavez jr - Turned down 12mil offer by TR

7---canelo alvarez - Thinks that he is fighting at the weight-class of 155, as there is no such thing as a "155 weight-class" ,he is pretending to be not in the MW division because of GGG.There are 17 divisions just pick one, if you can't make 154 then you are a MW, simple.

8---carl froch - After calling GGG out then when GGG accepted ,he backed down and now he is retired after making all the fuss, GGG was calling him for more than a year so no excuses for "retiring".

9---andy lee - recently in an interview said that I won't call-out GGG even after the reporter said that you must call him out because you are now a "champion" see below
        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMMpnyC6kDg

I think I missed a couple, one was a german I think. If any1 knows any other then tell me, thanks

i also saw a recent interview where he said that he would fight golovkin. he already signed to face him once so we know he's not afraid. the only reason it might not happen is if pbc offer him more money for a fight with quillin or jacobs and then he loses that. saunders on the other hand has openly said that he wouldn't fight golovkin (he seems to be a big fan of ggg actually)

GGG's team: "we have trouble making fights with Gennady. We'll fight ANYONE 154-168".

            Floyd- "well fight at 154"
            Cotto & Canelo-"we'll fight"
            Lee & Quillin-"we'll fight"
            Tureano Johnson- *crickets
            Lara at 160- *crickets
            Heiland-*crickets
            Ward- 164 cw or *crickets

Let's just stop with this BS that he'll fight ANYONE, cuz it's just not true.

Between Abel and loeffler I don't know which one makes triple G look bad more, they kick out all these wolf tickets most feared fighter from 154-168, everyone ducking him then when ppl call them out its doesn't sell tickets, A side, unify mw, 164 just shut up let triple G continue destroying bums he has been and pray cotto-canelo winner doesn't drop belt to do rematch

johnson and heiland are no better than monroe jr and golovkin was slayed for taking that fight. according to lara there were talks between his team and golovkin's, but evidently k2 opted for the lemieux fight instead. when golovkin couldn't get a fight at middleweight, he agreed to fight ward. now that he can get the big middeweight fights, he doesn't need to move up any more. and none of this changes the fact that he was ducked repeatedly for years. duckers like sturm and martinez basically cost golovkin five or so years of his prime. he could have been in the position he's in now back in 2010 or 2011, when he was still in his 20s, if only he was given his rightful dues. as a boxing fan, you should view it as a tragedy that a fighter as good as golovkin was deprived of the right to showcase his talents on the world stage for so long

Gennady Golovkin is the biggest coward in boxing today. He's afraid of the best this sport has to offer.

Whenever a fighter mentions ticket sales as an excuse to avoid a fighter, you better believe they are a certified coward.

                    Gennady Golovkin is a coward.
