I put the sport first bro, always have, so I will never be caught out.

The same as the current Loma/Rigo thread......
Rigo is my boy, but I hold him to the same standard I hold everyone else.

I dont make excuses for my guy, I dont understand why that is required.

Also, I am a bigger fan of Marquez than I am of Mayweather
Just so long as you don't say that the Floyd win over JMM was more legit than Bradley's was because that would just not be right.

Have you ever traveled 4800km from Glasgow and done anything in life? Looked it up and that'd basically have you going from Glasgow, Scotland to Kiev, Ukraine and still calling it "home advantage".

Ward and Froch had to basically travel the same distance to get to Antlantic City, NJ (Froch traveled 1000km farther).

      • I see no one cares bout Ward except when his name is mentioned in conjunction with GGG. Team GGG just answering questions here. I wonder when Ward is actually getting back in the ring, will it be a total bum again?

Marquez was old, faded, and was not campaigning at his best weight.

Other than KTFO6, Marquez has done absolutely nothing at welter.

It was still a good win for Bradley.

Marquez was NOT the second best welter on the planet, or even close.

Froch was the second best SMW when Ward beat him.

Froch was in his prime, and on top of his game.

Froch is a better win for Ward, than Marquez was for Bradley.

Bradley is much more suited to welter than Marquez.

Overall, Marquez > Bradley, no question !

              No way.

Marquez looked like a fish out-of-water against Mayweather.

There was also the weight re-negotiation incident.

He was better prepared for Bradley, and not much more faded.

They're different countries you moron, it's not the same as travelling from Cali to jersey, regardless of distance.

                  I doubt it.

But I think it will likely be at 170.

All 9 of us Ward fans are really looking forward to it

Ward has an arrogant feel about him and his actions during fight negotiations lend total credibility to that assumption. His demands show an elevated sense of self importance and value. Yet his "numbers" are atrocious, certainly not worthy of the demands that he puts on the table time and time again.

Bradley vs Vargas pulled in 1.228MM views (LINK) while Ward vs Smith pulled in a paltry 323K (LINK).

Feel free to decide for yourself who has more fans.
Comparing the numbers for an entire night of fights to the isolated numbers for a single fight, lol.

                    • Funny how Sergio Martinez never had his camp running around, talking about how 'Maravilla' was ready to take on any fighter 154-168 and whoop them all.

Maravilla held himself as the middleweight kingpin, and Ward held himself as the super middleweight kingpin; working to negotiate the weights between two kingpins actually make sense.

Team Golovkin drool all over themselves for fights at 168 against Froch and Chavez Jr, yet turning ***** when anyone mentions Andre Ward took that card from them.

                      no need to lie.
