Added caveat is that Ward is being spoken of as the chief support for Cotto-Canelo, a stage a bit higher up than simply opening up the PPV broadcast.

Dawson was the one who clamored to take on Ward at 168, so no need to ignore that now.

Team Golovkin ran their mouths about wanting to see any fighter 154-168, and Ward simply retorted come see him at 168.

not his fault that Team Golovkin turned *****

.... Ward fights out of Oracle Arena, an 18k-seat venue in his hometown.

Golovkin has never drawn even $600k for a gate, let alone the $700k that Ward has seemingly done three times.

Ward said that he'd drop to 160 for Mayweather but won't drop to 164 for GGG? That sounds kinda bitch to me.

I already looked up the stats and GGG outsold Ward's largest crowd on 3 occasions.

GGG-Rubio did 9,233 at Stubhub in Carson, CA and Ward-Abraham did 5,311. That's right in Ward's own backyard too.

Ward said he would "fight anyone at 168 or 175"

You act like New Jersey and California are the same. America has few "national" fighters.

                  How is it actually different?

Ward said he'd fight Mayweather at 160, only after Floyd dissed him for backing his friend, Robert Guerrero, dismissing even the idea of the fight shortly thereafter, when he got an opportunity to chill out.
