Compared that to Floyd's who has 25 world title fights & has fought 23 world chanpions or ex world champions in their prime(3 were undefeated) 2 are already in the "Hall of Fame"(De La,Hoya & Gatti) & right now 4 a sure candidates(Pacquiao, Cotto, Mosley & Marquez)..
It's always funny watching Mayweather cultists attempting to pick apart & discredit other resumes for consisting of old, well past their best fighters.

    Zero self-awareness.

When Ronda Rousey's carefully manufactured fight career is more respected than top boxers you know what you're dealing with here.
Nobody says Ronda is better than any top boxers. They just say they think she would rag little Floyd in an MMA fight. Just goes to show u how little Floyd is respected for his safety first fighting style. He keeps on winning which is great for him but his gimmick is up. He's boring 85 percent of the time. Viewed as a softy in a sport where the hardcore warriors reign supreme regardless of undefeated records.

Who thinks of him like this other than a few ******ed posters on NSB? Most retired pros and those involved in the sport have great respect for Floyd.

He's fought 48 fights and you claim 41 of those fights have been boring. I get you are not a Floyd fan but at least be honest about what he's accomplished or judge every fighter by the same standard you do Floyd.

Exactly. Floyd's accomplishments in the ring are often overlooked by people who hate Floyd the person. The fact he's beaten 20+ World Champions is incredible, one of the greatest accomplishments in the history of the sport.

Also, the fact that he's been able to move from 130 to 154 and fight some of the top guys at each weight is also amazing. Some guys will go their whole careers without ever having faced another top 10 P4P fighter, and that's a lot of times not their faults, it's just a function of the weight class they are in. That Floyd got to face several other top 10 P4P fighters in his career including a few in the top 3 is also a very very rare feat in boxing.

Floyd's career is going to be appreciated more and more after he retires and time goes by.

Hagler will never admire Floyds way of fighting. Hagler thought SRL was a bit of a pitter patter and runner when they fought all those years back. But Floyd was 10 times worse than SRL could ever be. SRL compared to Floyd looked like the second coming of Mike Tyson.

Floyd had all the size advantages against Pac, 2.5 inches in height, longer reach, JMM softened Pac up for Floyd, yet Floyds punches didn't carry even one quarter of the power SRLs did against Hagler. Plus Floyd needs to watch the SRL performance against Hagler fight to see what a combination punch is.

This is lame because if a black person has an honest positive opinion about Floyd he is considered racist by you. I haven't ready through the thread but the fact that you're pulling the race card tells me that Iron Dan, Big Dunn or somebody else who believes Floyd has the greater resume has shut down this thread with facts and you all have no other comebacks.

Stop projecting, i don't go to threads to bash Floyd or Manny. I'm neutral and never cared much for either. Of course you will say that it's easy to say now that Pacquiao got outclassed but whatever.

I didn't post or imply you were a fan of either. I simply posted that you picked Manny to win before the fight and then after he lost claimed he was shot.

I'm just wondering why you didn't factor in his "being shot" when you picked him to beat Floyd. That doesn't seem smart.

Most of the diehard Manny fans/ardent Floyd haters picked him to win and then as the fight got closer said he was done as a preemptive excuse.
