He was coming off of a knockout loss when he fought Rios.
I dont think anyone was thrilled about the Algieri fight.

GGG isnt doing anything wrong. He wants to unify, Cotto has other plans, Kid Chocolate vacated his belt yadda. Everyone knows the situation. Yet TMT let their frustrations out on him, due to his high praise and being upset that meanwhile TBE gets criticized.

Berto doesn't deserve the fight. Floyd does what he wants, claims he is TBE, he brings the criticism on himself. The real situation is probably, Floyd had some sort of agreement to fight on CBS, therefore he refused to fight a legit opponent.

I think Mayweather has definitely earned the right. The right to retire that is. And I think he should.

And it's not because I don't want to see Floyd fight anymore, I just think retirement will be a tougher challenge than Berto.

Especially now he's beaten Pacquaio the guy that everyone said he was scared of and wouldn't fight.

He has one fight to honour on his contract, otherwise he wouldn't be fighting. He's beaten everyone, made all the money, he has nothing else to do.

Yeah he could fight Khan or Porter or Thurman or someone like that but what's the point? He's not going to gain anything from beating one of those. All solid wins but none will be anywhere close to one of his best wins. He won't get much credit for beating any WW left that he hasn't beaten already.

It's his last fight and he wants an easy swan song. I don't blame him.
