Since 2010 he has fought Mosley, Ortiz, Cotto, Guerrero, Canelo, Maidana twice, and Pacquiao. If he is deciding to call it a day, he's entitled to a farewell fight; if he intends to continue, he's entitled to a tune up.

It's kind of obvious that people want to see him pushed until he physically breaks in the ring. Far less is expected of fighters in their prime.

Guerrero - not an elite fighter, Fraud just fought him because of his last name
Canelo - too young
Maidana - Maidana won the first one and Fraud needed the ref, commission and pillow gloves to win the second one
Pacquiao - old, shot, one armed fighter, glorified sparring match, Marquez beat him more dramatically

you think 15 million suckers will watch floyd fight berto??????? the public doesn't even know who berto is and when they do they'll definitely pass. plus the public hated on floyd for being very boring himself. the only way you can drag the majority of the public to waste their time on another floyd snoozefest is if there is a stacked undercard and floyd is fighting a big name. even then it won't do close to 15 million.

Algieri was undefeated, world champion and ranked in the top 5 at 140 when pac fought him. He also gave khan a very tough fight.

Berto is not ranked top ten anywhere and he just isn't good at all. Mayweather vs berto is the worst mismatch in the longest time.

With all the availible competition at 147. I dont care to see the berto fight but my point is you guys go crazy over everything floyd does and give praise to people for doing the same sht and make all the excuses in the world as to why its not the same, rios loss to avril but got a gift, hes not sorry but come on man, chris algerie??? hey genius manny was fighter of the decade from 2000-2009 (when pac was at his absolute prime years). the pac that fought rios didn't have his killer instinct anymore, was already war torn, and was coming off a HUGE KO LOSS. people were asking pac to retire after that KO loss for his health. rios was a clear tune-up, and even then rios was a decent fighter with only 1 loss (officially) and good punching power. yes he got a gift against abril but abril is farr more skilled than karass and frickin guerrero.
