W/O Ward - Golovkin can fight N'Dam in October, sell 10,000 tix, get 1.5mill tv views, make over a million from HBO another million from international sales.

W/O Golovkin - Ward goes back to BET, fights in front of a paper'd house, gets maybe 500,000 tv viewers, and loses his promoter another $2mill.
Ward is looking at $2m minimum paydays, regardless of who he fights; there's no need on Ward's part, especially with Golovkin still being a 33 year old fighter who can't draw a PPV. c'mon man.

Which shows you how much interest team ggg really has in this fight. NONE!

Ward just fought at a catchweight..........against a smaller guy..........in his own backyard. Only difference was that the CW was something that suited him and not the opponent.
Paul Smith was the smaller man in the Ward fight? I thought Smith had trouble making weight, how was he the smaller man?

He is a SMW who said f-it and didn't try to make the weight because he knew the cards were stacked against him. Ward couldn't make 168, so they fought at 172. Smith just didn't care because he knew he had little to no shot to win anyway.

Where are the real Ward fans?

Why don't you guys buy his tickets, why don't you guys watch his fights?

                I tell you the answer:

You guys are FAKE Ward fans, most of you are a bunch of racist keyboard warriors who hate GGG for being more popular and more exiciting than any american boxer.

Simple rules of thumb and observation:

-most fight promoters generally take 30%-33%
-most fight managers generally take 15% of the purse
-trainers are supposed to get 10%
-general rule of thumb on taxes is 35%.
-Manny Pacquiao is known to take large fight advances, with at least $4m spent on fight tickets

If those basic parameters hold true, Pacquiao is out 80% of his purse, before even figuring how much of his purse he'd received as an advance. lol

.... revenue brought in from an event weighed against the total cost of putting on said event is a pretty simple way to look at the numbers

Wouldn't that mean Smith walks around at a regular weight higher than 172lbs and decided to stop cutting weight to give himself an edge? Just trying to figure out how Ward was the bigger man if he made the agreed upon weight and Smith didn't.

Ward is also a career SMW so I don't see how Smith would be at any type of disadvantage.....
