So after Berto KO's Mayweather, and then Berto loses to Pacquiao, would that mean Pacquiao becomes #1 p4p, Floyd#2, or would someone else become #1 by default like Rigondeaux/Ward/GGG/etc? Fair point about free TV, but we are talking about Floyd Mayweather here.

Retirement fight or not, Berto is an underwhelming opponent for Mayweather, and that is the nicest way I could put it.

I was hoping for Lara/Cotto/GGG at 154, Berto falls way short of those guys.

Berto is a now faded/once promising prospect and far from slick. This fight is a joke but at least they have the common decency to NOT charge money for this piece of crap.

Then the next guy emerges and then y'all will make threads about how Floyd is SCARED to come back from retirement and fight the next guy that will give him his first loss.

I will watch the fight. I just kind of hoped for someone with more upside than Berto who has lost 3 of his last 6 fights.

Floyd fought Pac which is what everyone wanted so he did satisfy that demand.

Would've been nice to see Thurman or Brook or somebody like that get a shot on the big stage.
