Ummm...cant speak for others but I for sure aren't. It'll be the first Floyd fight that I didnt buy since he fought Baldomir. I wasnt even excited about watching this farce for FREE on TV unless I had absolutely nothing better to do.

I dont think showtime would be so naive to allow Floyd to fight someone like Berto and stick in on free TV, and pay him 30m - 40m. There must be stipulations in the contract.

Maybe this is why it is taking so long to announce, as Floyd wants to fight Berto, but showtime requires it to be PPV, which it is cleary not a PPV fight.

The recent rumor of a 3 fight contract extension could be a way of settling the issue and things are being ironed out, which is why it is taking so long to finalise.

Maybe 2 Free TV fights and two more PPV...

Apparently very few people know the meaning of contract or guarantee. Considering Mayweather just gave hbo/sho/vegas a huge payday, they would not only pay for this fight but try to make sure any other fight he has they get a piece of, hence the negotiations.

I refuse to believe that with 6 weeks away and no official announcement made, that they are going to announce Berto as the opponent. I believe they are having second thoughts due to all the backlash and are now scrambling for another opponent. Or maybe it's just wishful thinking.
