No, Ward-Kessler would have made more money in Denmark.

Ward-Abraham would have been HUGE in Germany.

And Froch-Ward would have made more money in England.

Next are you going to tell us that cotto is more of a champ than ggg, just because he holds the wbc belt? Or is wilder more of a champ than wlad?
WTF are you talking about? Have you ever seen me refer to Wilder as the HWT champ? No, so you swung and missed with the not subtle-white guys are the best but Dunn says otherwise.

Have I ever said Cotto was the best MW? No, all I've said which is 100% correct , is he is the lineal champ and he won the title in the ring, something GGG isn't and didn't do.

Subtle racism point #2, swing and a miss.

You and the majority can have the opinion Kov is the best LHW in the world, that doesn't make it a fact. Adonis being the lineal LHW champ is a 100% fact. There are a few , like Freedom, that try and r pretend otherwise.

      Strike 3 dude.

It's cool to disagree, but at least know what I've said in these other situations before suggesting I would just pick against the white guy.

If you didn't mean it the way I interpreted your post, my point still stands.

It is a ****** question. The divison does exist and has done for over 25 years so it's irrelevant what he would or wouldn't do if it didn't.

If you're going to dismiss 168 you may aswell dismiss all the Jr. and Super divisions.

In the short term, maybe. In the long term the goal was getting 168 more exposure in the US, where most of the money is.

Again, you know this, but just like to gloss over it.

Same problem cruiserweight division is having now. I get that you and others do not care if a division is big in the US. Cool. But the promoters and managers care because more often than not the bigger purses are here.

I think you're all just wasting your energy.

Ward should make a permanent move to 175. Fighting at a 172 catchweight while calling out 154/160 tweeners is just cheesy.
It's the norm because most fighters are big for their division.

If you're 10+ lbs north of your weight class then you aren't small for the weight that's just common sense.

And Canelo hasn't been fighting at 160 for over a decade that's the difference.

              But that wasn't the result.

Fewer fans in the USA watch the 168 division, partly because they are turned off by the feather-fisted Ward's excessive clinching and grappling.

It really depends a lot on the refereeing.

If Ward fights at mid-range, or on the outside, I don't give him much of an advantage over Golovkin at all.

If he can work the inside then he has a distinct advantage. Refereeing is key.

I don't think they were turned off by Ward winning easily. Ward just doesn't resonate with fans. Happens. Roy Jones in his prime is arguably the greatest ever and he was never a cross over star.

Yes, they didn't get the result they wanted, but that doesn't change what the goal was.

It was still a success and Ward defeated everyone he faced because he was better than all of them.

He may not sell, but he can sure box with the best of them.

i think you are trying to be nice but what you really mean is will the ref allow ward to clinch nonstop wlad style. if ward does that he has a chance at putting on a masterclass performance right ward fans?

Dude, get over this refereeing stuff [Floyd beat hatton because he is better than him] and give credit where its due. In the ring, Ward gets the job done. He has proven he is a great boxer.
