  • Lacy stepped up his competition.......GGG has yet to do that. His fanboys keep having to talk about his amateur career because his resume is so ****ty.

Nonsense, Murray and Geale have struggled notoriously making weight. Technically GGG has been fighting at super middle already, yet still makes excuses he can't Ward.

      • The frustrating thing about GGG for me is, well I think he'd beat most of them

Canelo would be a good battle. I see Ward outboxing him. . . Guys like Lemeuix and Lara and whoever else around that weight (even Cotto) I think he makes easy work of. . . But I want him to target those people for his own legacy's sake.
He's 33 now and you could count the name of half decent contenders on well. . . 2 fingers lol.

        • There is only one way GGG will ever be able to fight Froch, Ward, Cotto, Canelo, etc...

He has to go back to his roots and invite them all over to Kazakhstan for a BBQ and then when they are walking down the street, he has to run over and beat them down in the middle of the street the way his brothers taught him to do as a kid. That is the only chance he will ever have for most of those so called 'fighters' having the balls to fight him. He has to get them where and when they have no choice in the matter. Because otherwise, they will continue to avoid and run away from him and refuse to face him in the ring. They will always find an excuse that their fans will happily accept.

Broner is already the next Lacy.

What do you mean technically he's been fight at SMW? The guy has never weighed over 160 for any fight yet, and is renowned for stepping onto the scales at around 158!

And please give you're source as to where Golovkin has made excuses why he can't fight ward?

Ward has fought once in nearly two years and his trainer was vocal that he would need "3-4 tune up fights to get ready for big fights"! That was Virgil Hunters own words, yet it's Golovkins fault that fight hasn't been made! Smh

I think you'll find he weighed 161 for a couple of his fights.

There is a lot of truth to this. Larry literally called Broner the next fighter of the decade in 2012, when he had neither done **** or showed any significant promise. That's much closer to Lacy than GGG is.
