golvovkine seems to me like the nexy andre berto ,he looks decent and powerful against very weak oppoeosion but when he steps up in class he looks confused and outlandish.

u know theres a reason he stays hiding out in the WEAKEST division in boxing,he cant move up cause the big players at SMW take him to deep waters, this includes FROCH,WARD and both DIRRELLS and he literally gets killed at 175.

That was a really interesting fight. Bute was winning and I was surprised that GGG didn't really look that good against him and then at the end GGG catches Bute on the chin and pulls it off.

I'm pretty sure you meant Adrien Broner cause that dude beats up all the can drivers and then steps up just a little and gets schooled

                who knows???

This is a pretty good question for once Larry. Thing is, Lacy was even more inexperienced at the highest level than GGG but he was an exceptional puncher and rightly deserved his hype. As does GGG. The major difference here is, SMW had Calzaghe and Kessler, two truly elite fighters, one of whom is a first ballot HOFer and a probable ATG.

Middleweight, right now does not have any two fighters such as those. Yes Cotto is exceptional but he is small and can be broken apart by big punchers. The guy, in his own words "is not a middleweight". Who else is out there? Quillin? Lee? Lem? That makes for some fun match ups but hardly a high calibre of opponent.

Golovkin definitely isn't as good as the hype surrounding him. He has slow feet, slow hands and is very hittable. He is a guy that wins relying on his power and in imposing his strength against the b and c level fighters that he is a 200/1 favourite to beat. If he finally stepped up and fought Ward, it would be just as dominant of a beatdown as what Calzaghe did to Lacy.

Lacy was a weak amateur, and beat up on faded scott pemberton and Omar sheika...

Golovkin and lacy have zero in common

                    Yep and yep.

Golovkin and Lacy are like chalk and cheese. A million miles apart.
While 'im pretty sure this is a troll thread, a comparison between Broner and Lacy would of been much more apt.
