i guess that is what you are hoping for, but I doubt it would happen. losing a competitive fight to ward or something which he might can hardly be equated to what calzaghe did to lacy.

Outside of those two and possibly Lemieux .... Who's left???

        MW division sucks
Why? because you dont like the man who is ruling it with an Iron Fist?

Its because GGG is not black, plain and simple.

UCN did a video on this with Steve Kim, Michael Montero and Doug Fischer

GGG is more like Tyrone Brunson!
Biggest hype job of the century.

Im just glad we have fighters like Deyontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Adrien Broner, Danny Jacobs, Peter Quillin, Andre "The Matrix" Dirrell, The Charlo Brothers, and Boo Boo Andrade. To keep the sport legit.

However, I do feel GGG will get his world wrecked if he has to face Ward at 168, or Mayweather at 154.

GGG's style is predicated off timing. An educated jab and good footwork will disrupt GGG's offense and force him into a wild swinging chaser.

I feel Mayweather vs GGG would look eerily similar to Mayweather vs. Maidana.

Ward would stop him. I notice Euro trainers have no problem throwing in the towel once their fighter gets a nose bleed. GGG's corner would not allow Ward to destroy him. They'd stop it after it becomes obvious they can't beat Ward.
Except Golovkins trainer isn't European, he's Mexican American, Abele Sanchez! Why don't you give an example of "Euro" trainers throwing in the towel after a "bloody nose"?

You feel that Golovkin, an olympic silver medalist would be offset by a good jab and footwork? If that's the case then why didn't monroe or rosado expose him? Andre Dirrell couldn't do that in the Olympics I doubt than many others would!

GGG should move up and face bigger guys at least once in his career, if he wants to be elite.

You know a boxer hasn't done a damn thing as a pro when you have to keep pointing to his amateur career.

                    Reminds me of David Reid.
