Golovkin is doing the same thing....ducking the big guys above him so he can fight smaller guys.

one could argue that GGG still has plenty of unfinished business at 160.

The same really cant be said for Ward, as he already cleaned out 168 years ago.

Fighting DeGale I suppose would be alright. I don't think Steiglitz is leaving Germany but I suppose it could happen.

That would buy time in hopes Golovkin gets tired of being jerked around at 160.
There's a chance the AA/Stieg winner would leave if Roc offered enough, but Bob seems to be chasing that fight already.

Dunno about Degale.... I assume they're goign to try and build up a unification..
Dunno what he's gonna do that he hasn't done already, but if he wants to stay go ahead. Roc's the one buying time

yes they are and ward knows that so he's going to take easy fights on their dime. this is the same ward who was trying to make hbo give him easy fight after easy fight and this led to his promoter troubles because the guys ward wanted to fight weren't approved by hbo and he wouldn't take less money or fight tougher opponents so he sat in purgatory. now he's just doing the same thing with a different promoter only this promoter has a lot more money so they can afford to pay ward and it doesn't have to be on hbo. they got duped. ward is the pat robertson of boxing. give me money because...god says so!

                  Degale

                  Gilberto Ramirez

                  Ggg

I think he beats all 3. Ggg being his toughest challenge

                  Ramirez being the easiest

He has waited around long enough that at least there are some interesting things for him at 168 again.

It is just kind of a meh move although I can see why he wouldn't leave just now considering it would be tough for him to get a lot of the better 175 pound guys outside of Kovalev.

It would be the same thing I would say about Golovkin it is not really daring to be great, but if he fights top guys at 168 no harm no foul.

He has never given GGG ****. He just asked him to stop using his name if he has no intention of fighting him. Ward even said yesterday that he wasn't going to bother talking about GGG any more because its a waste of time.
