Ward being scared is BS. He just wasn't ready to fight. Why are people so desperate to put thoughts into fighter's heads to justify their own narrative? They are buying into a bunch of BS. Ward and Glolovkin will fight when the time is right.Comment

Now its GGG and his teams fault for ducking Ward. Who is not only at a different weight class, doesnt have a big enough name for Ward to want to fight him, and Ward hasnt set foot in a ring in 2 years. Why is he even talking about this? He should be telling everyone to tune in to his fight with Paul Smith right after the Sanford and Son rerun

his brothers callum and liam look decent though
Froch was the home fighter against Kessler in London. But when he fought Groves in London, they both said the fight was on Grove's home turf, because Groves is a Londoner and Froch isn't.
See? You don't need to fight in your home town to have "home advantage", if your opponent is from a different country.Last edited by NEETzsche; 06-17-2015, 01:15 PM.Comment

You guys that grasp onto this "3lbs killed him" nonsense are beyond reasoning with. He's a pro fighter with months to prepare. Quit lying to yourselves. When Golovkin finally faces real competition and looses you're all going to jump ship anyway so don't wear yourselves out trying to defend him now.
Even losing half of that then replacing it with 20 lbs of water the next day will take a huge toll on a fighter.
As for GGG taking a loss, his team says they're not afraid of it. Who cares how some of his fans feel about it?
And, yes, Andre Ward is not ducking anyone. He does however try to give himself every advantage he can. Nothing wrong with that.Comment

yes, sarcasm intended. sorry. I will watch the fight out of curiosity. Ward will likely look good. Not sure what that indicates against a guy like Smith.Comment

Clearly, Cotto and Roach knew the CW was critical, even if you don't, otherwise it wouldn't have been in place.
Another thing - Geale was coming off a devastating KO defeat, which is not ideal preparation for a title attempt. Who was that guy who KTFO of Geale and softened him up for Cotto?Comment

If the 3lbs didn't make a difference, then why did Cotto insist on fighting at 157, instead of 160, knowing the **** he would get for doing that?

And Froch said several times that he was looking forward to KO'ing Groves in his own home town, in front of his own people.Comment
