Clearly, Cotto and Roach knew the CW was critical, even if you don't, otherwise it wouldn't have been in place.

Another thing - Geale was coming off a devastating KO defeat, which is not ideal preparation for a title attempt. Who was that guy who KTFO of Geale and softened him up for Cotto?

The fact is Geale is a mediocre fighter and he's GGG's best win. Nothing else really matters.

Geale isn't GGG's best win, but if he is mediocre at 160, why wouldn't Cotto fight him without a CW?

Maybe he is now. Certainly looked it at 157. Was not the same as when he fought Golovkin and of course it matters. None of the guys GGG's beaten up have been the same after. I'd rate Murray as Golovkin's best win BTW.

What's really awesome is that all the haters (and fanboys too) are on the record in these forums with their BS and it's all going to get sorted over the next two years when GGG fights the guys who are either going to expose and embarrass him or the guys that he will crush and KTFO. Half of you will end up looking like geniuses and half will end up looking like clowns. Can't wait to see it all plays out...
