Thats kind of pityful you dont realize that GGG didnt mean what you make it out to be. Common sense? Hello?
There are a dozen interviews out there where GGG stated he is ready and they had an official meeting with HBO where GGG said YES and Ward said NO.
It's obvious Golovkin was just saying Ward wasn't his focus days before his fight but people are gonna pick and choose what they want to hear.

Ward: I Told Golovkin's Promoter - Stop Lying To Fans!

The hyped guy is the overwhelming fan favorite, and 90% pick him to win.
And the proven guy is disliked, but 99% of knowledgable insiders pick him to win.
And, does anyone recall Mayweather saying this..... ?
" Stop lying to the fans "

And I agree with the bold, another similarity between Golovkin and Pacquiao.
Rios / Algieri type opponents will not prepare Golovkin for Ward either.

No surprise to see the cowardly Boxing Scene posters defend the coward (Golovkin) for ducking the best fighter in the sport (Ward).
Reminds me of P@cturds defending Pacquiao ducking Mayweather by refusing blood tests.
These so-called "fans" have ruined this once great sport. They'd rather BS with each other than watch real fights.

Even losing half of that then replacing it with 20 lbs of water the next day will take a huge toll on a fighter.
As for GGG taking a loss, his team says they're not afraid of it. Who cares how some of his fans feel about it?
And, yes, Andre Ward is not ducking anyone. He does however try to give himself every advantage he can. Nothing wrong with that.
The point is, unless you criticised the catchweight before the fight, mentioning it now is just an excuse.
Do you think that Golovkin could beat Mayweather at 154 after losing an extra 6 pounds ?

Clearly, Cotto and Roach knew the CW was critical, even if you don't, otherwise it wouldn't have been in place.
Another thing - Geale was coming off a devastating KO defeat, which is not ideal preparation for a title attempt. Who was that guy who KTFO of Geale and softened him up for Cotto?

Do you have any explanation for that?
Cotto manipulated Geale on the scale because he could..... and, because doing so would be to his advantage.
Just like Pacquiao did to Hatton / Cotto / Margarito / Marquez / Rios / Algieri.
When Pac did it, it was..... " he da A-side doe ".

It took a 1 hour meeting at a heats game to kill 5 years of bullshht.
Ward should go to Golovkins next fight and talk to him personally.
