Instead of holding Canelo and Cotto to these standards, why not ask GGG to move up if none of them want to face him? Why is GGG so afraid of the 168 division?

But yeah, he certainly isn't picking on Ward or Lara or 168 though, except a weak opponent like Chavez Jr. That's all GGG wants, easy fights. Good 154 pounders(Canelo, Cotto) and weak 168 pounder(Chavez). Dude has had easy fights his whole career. 1 year younger than Cotto, not one notable win or accomplishment.
Everybody wants to fight Mayweather. That's why you see Hopkins and Ward saying they'd go down as low as they can go to get a fight. Who doesn't want to fight Mayweather?

Oh I get how big the fight is. I'm guessing GGG/Cotto pobably does half the buys of Canelo/Cotto. I'm just saying that with the split he will get from each fight, I just don't see Cotto making much more fighting Canelo than he would GGG. I could be wrong.

Why does he have to move up instead of fighting people in his own division?

Cotto needs to vacate the title or face his mandatory. Simple as that. But it's up to the sanctioning body to strip him if he doesn't. As long as they don't do that, he can hold on to the belt as long as he wants.

Floyd couldn't crack a million with showtime but then he fought Canelo and it brought in 2 million ppv buys. People love Canelo. He's just one of those guys that people will pay to see.

So let me get this straight.

If Mayweather fought Cotto for the MW strap at a 155lb catch weight and won, you're saying that GGG calling him out wouldn't be "picking on" or "bullying" the MUCH smaller guy even though they are technically in the "same" weight class?

Under no circumstances would I ever want to see GGG vs Floyd. The weight difference is just too much, and someone could get hurt badly. Cotto isn't a real MW. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out. GGG only wants to fight smaller, easier fights.

Mayweather is the current linear 154 champ. GGG has offered to fight him at 154, in large part because he can't get the current 160 linear champ to fight him.

But yeah, he certainly isn't picking on Ward or Lara or 168 though, except a weak opponent like Chavez Jr.
You seem to have conveniently left out a certain "weak" 168 fight name Carl Froch.

That's all GGG wants, easy fights.
Interesting that you think Mayweather at 154 is an easy fight.

You keep saying GGG is a coward unless he moves up a division and fights the larger, much more experienced and more talented, former #2 p4p Ward, who's currently has a fight scheduled at 172. Not only that, but he's a coward if he takes on a Chavez Jr level opponent to get used to the weight. A coward for trying to fight Froch. A coward if he goes after the linear MW title, which would make the Ward fight bigger. A coward unless he fights Lara, but a coward if he fights a guy who beat Lara.

A cowardly bum, that you can't stop talking about.

Umm... whatever reason you gave Floyd the pass for 7 years, that's the one Cotto is using.

He has fought no one of note, and refuses to because of "the money". Cotto put himself in that position but GGG isn't trying to make a name for himself like every one else did. He's tryna time travel to a point where he just becomes a big star, he's trying to skip the hard fights. Recent example was Bute and the love and support he was getting when he was calling out Ward who had just fought Kessler, Abraham, Bika, Froch and fans backed Bute instead of the guy who had just paid his dues. That's how boxing fans are, they cheer for you when you are on the come up, but once you put in work they abandon you. Bute had defeated fighters as decent as the guys GGG has been beating, Johnson, Miranda, Andrade, Magee, very similar level, skipp[ing the hard fights and going straight for the SMW champion. I just don't see that as right.
Bute didn't fight anyone of note because they were all tied up with the Super 6. Once that was over he tried to get Ward, and since Ward was injured he signed to fight Froch.
