I don't think ppl understand he's not vacating the belt, WBC will have to strip him, or he has to fight GGG.

This doesn't really matter, as long as GGG gets a chance to fight for the belt.

Drop the belt and then you don't have to fight him....

like... this is 1+1=2 and people on here are trying to prove that it equals Zebra or some shit

They don't need the belt to fight... just drop it since everybody knows he doesn't want to fight him. Because he's not a MW or because he just doesn't want to... drop it if you don't want to fight him
        exactly

Sergio was a shell of himself. There's a reason he hasn't fought since lol. Yea the size difference was bigger but still cotto it too small for gg. Since when is having 2 fights before fighting your mando the biggest problem in the world

Mayweather isn't a MW or MW title holder yet GGG wants to fight him. Also, GGG has been calling for a fight with Canelo and Cotto since they were in 154lbs, now he just has a reason. But yeah, he certainly isn't picking on Ward or Lara or 168 though, except a weak opponent like Chavez Jr. That's all GGG wants, easy fights. Good 154 pounders(Canelo, Cotto) and weak 168 pounder(Chavez). Dude has had easy fights his whole career. 1 year younger than Cotto, not one notable win or accomplishment.

Fact is Cotto can take himself out of this by just dropping from middleweight and go try to rule 154. Then GGG would have to aim elsewhere

To small??? Who gives a ****, are you playing dumb or really this ******ed, leave the divisoion and drop the belt if your too "small", seriously what don't you get with this formula, MW Lineal Champ fighting #1 MW contender.

I get it with Cotto. I don't really want to see Golovkin/Cotto, I just want Golovkin to get that overdue "official" recognition as MW champion. Obviously Cotto isn't a MW and that is a mismatch.

It's really, really dumb to say that about Alvarez, though. Alvarez just as big as Golovkin. He's huge.

It is simple. He is holding up GGG's career by holding the belt hostage he does'nt need in a division that by his own admission he does'nt belong in. I wish he would just vacate because I don't want to see GGG kill him.
