hes holding up ggs career but hes been a pro for almost 10 years lol, hes holding up his own career
Using two fights is'nt telling the story. Cotto took a year to fight his voluntary and assuming he fights Canelo late this year, we will be looking at close to two years before a fight with GGG is possible and Cotto still may not even fight him. So yeah. That pisses people off.

And Cotto fought an "old injured Martinez and a weight drained Geale" but that still qualifies him as establishing himself as a MW. No wait, it's actually the physical title that does it.
Must be hard to understand that GGG doesn't have the 168 lineal title.

i dont give a crap how he got his title, he has it and he should be facing his mandatory, its as simple as that. If he doesn't want ggg, THEN DROP THE DANG TITLE like other champs have done. Why is that so hard for you to understand?

Fair enough. GGG has some ppl that wanna fight him though like Lara and Lemieux. I guess they don't bring big money to the table. Cotto is thinking big money too and that's why he's waiting to fight Canelo first, then he can talk about GGG. Everyone is making business moves now in days. GGG will go up to fight Degale or Froch but stutters the way Cotto did when Ward is brought up.

I agree, he did, and I have admitted that he did. But GGG just comes off as a scavenger tryna pick off big names, he doesn't deserve it. He has fought no one of note, and refuses to because of "the money". Cotto put himself in that position but GGG isn't trying to make a name for himself like every one else did. He's tryna time travel to a point where he just becomes a big star, he's trying to skip the hard fights. Recent example was Bute and the love and support he was getting when he was calling out Ward who had just fought Kessler, Abraham, Bika, Froch and fans backed Bute instead of the guy who had just paid his dues. That's how boxing fans are, they cheer for you when you are on the come up, but once you put in work they abandon you. Bute had defeated fighters as decent as the guys GGG has been beating, Johnson, Miranda, Andrade, Magee, very similar level, skipp[ing the hard fights and going straight for the SMW champion. I just don't see that as right.

What part of me saying he should drop it after the canelo fight don't you get? Never seen such outrage over having two voluntary fights lol.

And now Cotto's Lineal title is legit all of a sudden, he no longer beat an injured fighter and a weight drained C class fighter.

I get the whole business aspect, but is Cotto really going to make that much more money fighting Canelo. He is looking at a 50/50 split with Canelo if the fight is going to get made vs getting like a 75/25 or 80/20 split with GGG. Obviously the Canelo/Cotto fight generates more revenue, but is Cotto really going to make much more money. I'm not so sure.

I don't care if you think it's right,I don't care what your opinion is if he deserves it or not, thats what you and hanz arent getting. no one cares what you "think" he deserves, it is a RULE that cotto is not following. That is not an opinion, that is a fact. and you can state all you want about how he doesn't deserve it, but it doesn't matter. Your stance has no ground and its just an opinion. GGG and his team is the only one with the argument here, because cotto is not wanting to fight his mandatory which is a RULE that WBC set and one that cotto knows about. Drop the belt or fight GGG, as simple and as clear as it can be.

because its not in the rules bud, should have fought canelo this year but he decided to fight geale, he got his one fight now he needs to face ggg.

I would think he will make a pretty penny fighting Canelo on PPV compared to GGG. The Mexicans and Puerto Ricans and fans in general will go crazy. Big money there bro. It's like asking if GGG would make that much more money vs Froch in the UK on PPV compared to a fight with Ward.
