GGG is no different than any other fighter, he wants the biggest money fights. Hence wanting Chavez Jr, Cotto, Canelo, Mayweather (WW), and even saying he'd fight Pacquiao, but when asked about Ward he says not right now, when asked about Lara he says there's no money in that fight. Fans defending a guy who if he was in the same position as Cotto, he'd do the same thing.
Fact is Cotto fought a lot more dangerous fighters in his prime than GGG wants to fight in his prime. Cotto paid his dues by moving up 7lbs fighting much bigger men than him like Clottey and Margarito and great fighters like Mosley 2007 version, dangerous punchers like Torres, undefeated well rounded fighters like Quintana. GGG wants a big money fight given to him from the sky while fighting weak, non dangerous fights.Comment

Translation:
He is not scared of Ward. He hasn't established himself at 168 and these fools want him to fight a legitimate P4P fighter and the best of the division.
Direll had a competitive bout against Golovkin in the amateurs but his recent performance reduces the chances of him beating Gennady in the pros. HBO favours GGG because he is entertaining and an exciting fighter - morons who claim it is to do with his skin complexion need a reality check. GGG gets his criticism from the fact that his resume appears weak however its his opposition within 160 that like to hide from him using promotional veils and delusionial market value. Peter Quillin is the best example.

The Floyd fight isn't happening, Floyd's last fight i could almost 100% guarantee he is fighting at 147, Amir Khan most likely, and i agree have the Canelo fight but why not sign saying you will fight GGG after? Just drop the belt now and not waste anyone's time then go fight Canelo or Floyd or whoever you want next.Comment

I am not saying GGG does not need to do more, but as of now Cotto put himself in that positionGGG is no different than any other fighter, he wants the biggest money fights. But Canelo has established himself at 160 though, right? Oh, it's just that he's "huge". Oh but wait, didn't GGG weigh 173lbs on fight night in one of his MW fights, and Ward 176lbs in one of his SMW fights? Whoa, what's going on here, some double standards.Translation:

And Cotto fought an "old injured Martinez and a weight drained Geale" but that still qualifies him as establishing himself as a MW. No wait, it's actually the physical title that does it.Comment
